do you ever try or even think to join a beauty pageant?

Today is Miss Universe Pageant and we saw lovely young woman elegantly wearing their gown and swimsuits. They are all intelligent and beautiful,.after watching the show one of my student said; if was just gifted with height i would also join the pageant. Like her have you ever think of it?

When I was in high school, some of my classmates wanted me to represent our class in a beauty pageant but of course, I didnt join the competition. I am not very tall and I dont want to be laughed at by other people. I was just trying to avoid any possibility of being laughed at.

No I would not really like joining in a pageant. Although its very glamorous and would really make you famous and would get all the benefits and advantage. I still dont want to join any beauty pageant. Even if I am beautiful, even if I have the height, even if I am the most intelligent person. I still dont want to join that pageant.

nope, i dont have the loooks to join there... ^^
i kinda have a little but courage, it's really tough one to join in a pageant... i guess....
