Which Section Of The Newspaper Do You Read First and Do You Read Last?

Hello, I always browse the whole newspaper and all the headings quickly to find interesting topics/articles, but I read first on the Lifestyle section and then I go for the crossword puzzle page. I love doing crosswords in our daily newspaper. The last section I read is the Editorial.
I know few of my friends who read the horoscope first and the classified ads section is the last. How about you? Which page of the newspaper do you read first and do you read last?

i always start with the horoscope and the weather forecast! i rarely read newspapers but when I do I also do the crossword and the sudoku puzzles. AFTER that I begin reading the headlines and i most often choose the dummest articles first. I leave the best for the end!
....yah, soon I will look for sudoku on net. I'm still interested on it. I'm glad if you will suggest a site for sudoku. @enyniya (299)

I am a big fan of horoscopes, even I myself have started picking it up as a hobby, but as I found out it is quite complex and very confusing lol.
Sudoku is a wonderful past-time because when you concentrate on the numbers you forget all your problems because you have to look carefully at each box and think of the possible combinations. If you start with sudoku for beginners and read a guide on the net probably after 10 or 15 sudoku puzzles you would be able to play sudoku on your own, it is not nuclear physics after all lol

well.. i dont have a particular order.. but most of the times i read the cover page first may be because it is the first thing we all see in a newspaper.. and ilike reading international news colum, sports page and political news column.. and i forgot the cartoons..

With me, I like to start with sport section first. Then I go to the lifestyle and pass the economy section. Never like those...And the last I go to the headlines, unless the headlines covers a real huge story.

Hi! I always read the headlines first to know the current events in our country. Then, I go on to the lifestyle section to find some interesting topics about good housekeeping and cooking. Next for me would be the entertainment section for some showbiz news and lastly, the crossword section to exercise my vocabulary and word power. :)

hi,
first read main headline and than which topic is more important today then ready full matter.i like most film news daily i see that rest time,last i read the which matter is continued world wide that matter i read in the last .i like that sports news in last i read .

I read my newspaper daily. i like to start with the headlines and national news. then i like to gravitate to the local news and weaather. sometimes I will read the horoscope, just for fun. I like to end with the entertainment section. I like to save the lighter reading for the end of my newspaper reading.@kd_fmay (554)

It is really in our lifestyle to read a newspaper even though we are updated in a television news everyday... right? Weather and other news from different countries, specially Canada and Macau, I read it because that's the location of my two brothers and other friends as well.

Hi kd_fmay,
In Singapore, we have sections such as HOME, WORLD, MONEY, LIFESTYLE, CLASSIFIED, THE STRAITS TIMES etc.
For me, I would usually read the home section first. This sections reports new that has occurred in Singapore. I usually read them first to know what is happening around over here in Singapore. However, I would browse through the whole part first to take a look at the headings and then go back to interesting ones to continue reading them.
After that, I would go over to the main section. This part contains important news from all over the world.

Hello, I used to read from the first page till the end. If I take a newspaper i will go through each article and at least it will take one hour to complete a newspaper. I always like to see the sports column first, because I like cricket very much, any cricket news in the sports column will be my first preference. Then I look into entertainment column and Classifieds section to see any opportunity is there for either Job opening or any Business Opportunity. And the rest will be read after these three sections,
