which express is better from Qingdao to Italy

i have sent a pacel to Italy by EMS. you know,when i choose this express for it can be cheaper. our parcel is 1.2kilograms and the dimension weight is more than 4 kgs. so i choose the EMS. However, i find the service of it is not so good. It's tracking system is very slow and sometime I can't track my package. It really lets me down. and i hear that many parcels had ever been lost in the course of delivery. is that true? have you ever met the same situation when you mail the parcel to foreign country by other express? let's share the experienes of via espres.
