Latvia

I went to Latvia last year and I visited Riga and Sigulda. I think it is beautiful country and I would like to visit Latvia again one day. I can see in your profile that you are from Liepaja, I wanted to go there when I was in Latvia, but I didn't have enough time. Next time I would like to go there and maybe I will also visit some of the other places in the western part of the country. When I was in Riga I did a lot of sightseeing and I sailed on the Daugava river, it was very nice. I also like Silgulda, it is beautiful and the people from the tourist office were very friendly.

What i can say about latvia that it is beutiful coutry i had been several times in Latvia while i were in my holidays there are so many beutiful places to visit in such small country.

I visited Latvia in 2008 with my son when he was 13 months old. We flew to the capital city, Riga. I liked seeing the architecture there. I got a train over the countryside where I visited a beautiful castle. After that I went back to Riga and caught a bus to Lithuania. I also managed to visit Estonia on that interesting trip. On one of my last days I went a beach in Latvia. There were benches to sit on and rubbish bins. I thought that they had made the beach comfortable to spend time on and it stayed clean due to it having bins on it.

I have traveled to a number of countries in different parts of the world, mostly on my business trips. I have not been to Latvia. I have heard a lot about it, and all I know is it is one of the East European countries. Very fascinating, and I very much wish I will have the opportunity to visit the country some time soon.

Not much to be honest. I am more familiar with the other Baltic states, since I have been to both Estonia and Lithuania, but never to Latvia. My sister went there recently though, she said Riga was very nice. So I hope I can go there one day!

I'm a boxing fan, and the "Club Rigas Rings" in Riga has gained a reputation as one of Europe's most notorious venues for rigged matches.

Well not too much, just that its a European country and Riga as the capital.

All I can tell you is that it is a country in the Baltic region of Eastern Europe. the capital city is Riga. Daugavpils is one of the other larger places in the country and that the train service between the two places is not great. This latter information was given to me by friends who have visited the country. Other friends have visited Riga for stag weekends and enjoyed theirselves. I believe Latvia is an up & coming venue for tourists.
