Buffet, to someone that eat a lot might seems worth its money. But for most, buffet is just a waste of money. What do you think? Can you eat more than you pay for buffet? For me, i think it is not easy to eat more than you pay for. Even if you did, it would mean you are too full and could not have a good night sleep. Is it worth to have a buffet?

I definitely think a buffet encourages people to eat a lot more than we should and can be unhealthy if done frequently. I suppose as an occasional thing it's not too bad. I go to a Chinese buffet once every few weeks because I like the variety of foods. I take a little, tiny bit of all sorts of things! :) And the place I go to also has snow crab legs which are a favorite, so I always start out with that. Considering I usually first eat a pile of snow crab legs, I would say that I probably do get my money's worth out of paying for the $12 buffet. But again, only maybe once a month or so. Any more than that and it's unhealthy as well as it gets boring and starts to lose all its appeal to me and then I DON'T get my money's worth.

Buffet is nice because you spend less money but you can eat various kinds of food. I was used to like to have the buffet in the past. But today I seldom will go to have the buffet because sometimes being so full is not comfortable. I don't feel well after that.

I think that even at an all you can buffet, you can still get your money's worth even if you don't eat to the point of making yourself feel ill.
At some places, you can eat relatively healthily as well, which means that you wouldn't really sleep too badly.
Also, if you have the buffet at lunch time, you would be okay, as the food would have been well digested by the time it got to you going to bed.
You do have to be careful though, as there's a huge potential to overeat at such buffets. Some are extremely cheap, meaning that you might go a couple of times a week, and eating to such extremes that often is very bad for your health.

Yes, I think it is worth it. It will be expensive but at least you get to try different kinds of foods from the appetizers, main dishes, and especially the desserts. I really don't eat a lot but of course if you're having buffet, you at least have to try everything that's there so it will be worth every penny.

Buffet...at times it is good since you get a lot of variety..but i feel its not really worthy...because i do not have a huge apetite...it might be good for people who have a good apetite...that they can eat more for less...I like the buffet which are non-veg were i think its worth the variety of food one gets... for less amount....Overall i'm neutral on buffet ... sometimes good sometimes not.

Yes, I do understand what you are saying. I like going for buffet lunches and dinners, mainly for the varieties it has. Some times, when I make a choice on the a-la-carte, I get so disappointed when the plate comes, totally different from what I had expected or thought. At the buffets, I can see the preparations with my own eyes before choosing, and that helps enjoying the food. So, I go to western, Asian, and Mexican buffets in town often over the wekends.

Well, for me it`s really worth it, specially for the drinks. Usually with a dish and one drink you pay the same than for eating in a buffet, so I prefer to eat and drink as much as I want not having to care that much about the bill. Most of the times for me it`s enough with a drink buffet, but if I`m hungry, I go to the meal buffet

Totally worth it. As long as you keep your stomach empty before you go to a buffet. I always skip breakfast and eat at late lunch. That way, I can eat more....I dont usualy like to eat much, since I try to keep my figure in shape, but sometimes we need to break some rules, right ??

Buffet is a good idea when you are hosting a party. When you are the host and arrange items of food and gusts choose whatever they like and eat.You cannot pay individual attention to each and individual needs of all guests. But buffet is not always advisable particularly when you go to a hotel and pay for what you eat do you think that all of us who go a hotel including children justifiably eat for the amount we pay. Certainly not. The concept of buffet has emerged mainly on commercial consideration. In such a situation it is better we order for individual items according to liking of each of us and pay.

I do not like buffet very much.First, the value of the food i eat do not worth the monney i paid. Second, the food there are various, but delicious ones just a bit.You see all kinds of food,n you want to eat, while you get it and taste for a little bite, then you will leave it alone. So,i think buffet waste money, also waste food we leave.

Buffet prices are generally reasonably priced usually with a variety of food items to try. People do tend to eat more and of course some people eat more than others. If you eat something at a buffet that you have not tried before but find you do not like it, it is easier to leave it as you are not paying for that item individually.

I like buffets. I enjoy eating many different kinds of food and when there is a buffet I get the chance to eat many different dishes. I usually try to eat a little bit of everything especially if it is an international restaurant, because I am curious and I like eating dishes that I have never had before. I don't eat a lot, and I not able to eat more than a little bit of each dish, but I still think that is worth the money, because I get the chance to try many new kinds of food that way.

I love to eat at restaurant buffets. there is no waiting for your food to arrive at your table. You can choose whatever and how much you want to eat. you can sample a variety of foods. I think buffets are worth every penny.

I love buffet! Especially if you will go there and you are really very hungry, buffet it the right place to go. I can only say its worth my money depending on the kind of food that they have. There are times before I eat at a buffet, I still look around and see what they have in the menu and I make sure I will like it.

I love buffet and I think I really eat and drink what I'm paying for. Whenever I plan of eating in a buffet restaurant I really prepare myself for it. I also don't eat buffet alone so that i would have somebody to speak with and really take time in devouring the the endless serving of food. Bon a petite!

I have not eaten at a buffet place in many, many years. I can not enough to make it worth the money, plus if I do eat to much I wind up feeling sick for the rest of the day or night. I know a lot of people enjoy them but I also feel that the quality of the food is not that great either.
