Not your average kind of night life

As I'm strolling down this empty stretch of road, almost deep into the night, an unfamiliar sense of feeling hit upon me. I feel like a stranger to this road even though I have been walking on it countless times for the past decade. Suddenly I realize something. The glamarious sight of the entire stretch of road is gone, it's dead just like the night. Everything is dimmed with only the street lights acting as their cover. Gone is the hustle and bustle of people, cars and noise. Standing here now, staring down the road, it's really so much different and I feel like exploring it. In fact, this night life is far better than those clubbing, having fun throughout the night. While I'm typing this post, I even manage to see young men, old men, just about to start work. They might be going to deliver newspapers or some might be heading for the market to start business. While there's a 24 hour coffee house nearby, the customers are definitely a different group of people I see in the day. It's the time for the young, who are hungry after their partying, while the elderly, have only just woken up, enjoying their breakfast. Huge vast difference when it's the same time of the day/night, whichever u wanna call it. I'm just surprised by the strange feeling being in a familiar terrority, being seperated by the sun and moon..

i experienced the same type of feeling a few months ago. It is crazy how day n night 9light n dark) dramatically affect the mood or ora of a place. i suppose thats why everyone seems to be in a good mood when its blazin sunny outside

Really? That's so nice to hear that. At least it shows that, night has got a beauty on it's own even without the glamarious side of it.
