how to remove recent viewed file

hey guys i am using win 7 and i use vlc player to watch videos and when we right click vlc player icon on the task bar it shows recent files played if i want to remove them i should click remove from list repeatedly how to make them not visible i have deleted recent files also then also those names remain solve my problem ...... thnx

use CCleaner software which is one of the best way to clean up the recently viewed files.or else open the command prompt and type %temp% you will see a window with all temporary files. you can delete in this way too.
