Do you open your Facebook Account to Chat with Friends?

i am new user of face book ,i am making new friends and chatting with them ,that is wonderful.

Yes i also do that. I just love to chat with my friends on facebook. I only wished my blackberry phone could make me do chat with them also. I wish chat was on mobile facebook as well.

I use my facebook account to communicate with my friends but I don't really open that "chatbox button". I like the post wall-to-wall thingy rather than that chatbox because there are just those times wherein I don't wanna be disturbed when someone wants to chat with me but then I don't want to. It's fun but sometimes annoying as well. That's just about it. Best of luck

I opened my Facebook account for more than just chatting because at the time time my friends and I used AIM to IM. Facebook has been more of a different way to communicate through pictures and status updates. Facebook has allowed me to keep in contact with people that I don't talk to normally all the time, but still want to keep tabs on their life and adventures. Now that I'm in college, it's serves best as an extended version of a phonebook because it maintains the contact information as everyone moves after graduation to get jobs for away from where we grew up. It's really helped me keep in contact with people and that is why I find Facebook to be invaluable.

Now that I am working online as I do I find I have no time to do such as I have to use my time wisely. Even when I was not working online for some reason it never interested me as my friends and I connected in so many other ways.

not really.. i use yahoo or msn or skype to talk to them if i want .. anywya most of my friend in my private fb is my family .but in my other facebook where i sell clothes and puppy i try to chat with them. if ever they try to talk to me but i prefere private message cause sometimes facebook chat mess up
