What is better ATM or Passbook?

Hi, For me, It is more convenience to have an ATM card at my side, so anytime I need cash, I just need to go to ATM machine to withdraw some money out. It is impossible for me to bring along my passbook all the time when I am out. Some saving account only have monthly statement,without passbook and for atm card,it is up to your own choice. In Malaysia,if you need to have an atm card,you need to pay extra yearly fee for the atm card,sorry..i can't remember how much is the yearly fee for the atm card. So it is best not to hold too many accounts in bank with atm card,or else,you might end up paying for the atm card fee. Not worthy.

I do prefer both because they all have their own usage for Savings as of ATM card is useful at anytime convenience for you especially when it is in "Emergency cases" you can take your money without any hassle but and for Passbook is so good as well for they have a time limit for you to access your withdrawal in office time but on my opinion you can save in anyways if u really like to saved your money at all.

If the goal is saving, I prefer passbook. Actually I am a holder of both ATM and passbook. I use ATM everywhere and I always carry it with me everyday. But my passbook is used for savings. I have allocated some amount to be credited at the passbook. Passbook does not have many movements. For safer shopping, I need my ATM but to see if I have savings, I need my passbook.

i prefer ATM.. because much easier to withdraw cash anytime, anywhere.
