How often do you study for one class?

I have for classes, taking only in two days, I want to limit, to the minimum amount of studying. What is the least amount of time to study, and still manage a high grade?

You don't say what level of education you are, but if you're in high school then I would say that you should study for two hours per week for each subject, if you're doing A Levels then they say five hours per subject per week, and if you're in college/university then it's a lot more like 10 hours per week per module. If you do what they say you should do, then obviously you will do well, but if you don't want the best grades you're capable of then don't do that amount of work. It just depends how well you want to do in your final exams at the end of the day.

Oops, I am a college freshman, and I could possible squeeze in 10 hours but, I'd rather not, I cant read material for 10 hours. I need a more active way of doing so.

It depends upon the subject, if the lesson is tolerable then you should not study for a long time since you are already familiar with the topic. On the other hand if the lesson is quite difficult that's the time that you really have to study for a long time. It's best to study after the class so that it is still fresh on your mind and it's not ideal to study one day before examination.

I've done all of my studying 1 day before class all through high school, and I was pretty successful. Not the best, but it worked!

It depends on how you study and what classes are you taking. I'm taking anatomy and physiology in class for about7 hours a week and I'm suppose to study for 6 hours outside of class. Just study the most hours possible for you to be successful in class. Limiting your time to study might cost you some grade but you will also learn time management.

It is best just to learn the lessons the first time. When you are learning something, make sure you learn it then for good. It worked for me, I never had to study hard and still obtained excellent grades. I'd just scan through my notes to make sure I knew everything the night before a test or quiz. There is such a thing as studying too much you know, right?

I'm pretty good at learning things the first time, but I HAVE to pay attention, and that can be difficult for me as well.

Uuh, studying. *shudder* I don't exactly study. I read. And when the test comes I remember everything. It gets a little growded sometimes. When there's especially hard test I read the material, rewrite the important facts and that's all. And my grades are OK. But Ihave a friend who studies around 3-5 hours per day and she's having some difficulties. And I guess it would also depend on classes you are taking. Math, physics, chemistry and biology are one of the hardest that I know. Anatomy also, as said above. I just wish you luck with those studies.
