What up with the Cubs not retiring Sosa's number?

Looks like they've distanced themselves from Sosa. 545 home runs for the Cub franchise should have ensured this. Steroid era or not, do you agree with this? Also, does anyone know if Sosa is still 20 shades lighter than his playing day pics? At least his face anyway. Didn't look good on MJ, (not the baller), and it sure doesn't look right on Sosa.

Well for one the whole steriod thing was made public and I'm sure that Chicago doesn't want to surround their ballclub around that scandal. It's like this he took steroids and in baseball it's against policy so therefore they shouldn't retire his number as for all the other people in baseball that have dealt with this issue.
