Basketball was invented by Mr. James Naismith. It was in winter that time and they are practicing baseball but the hail storm is so strong so accidentally they resort to other indoor sports so they end-up playing basketball.

Maria Sharapova. i like her for no reason i can think of why. she looks good and she plays well too. i don't like her game that much but whenever i see her on tv, i pause or stays on that channel.

Definitely Steve Nash. He's made some mistakes in his career and he's not the best player ever or anything, but I still love his game and how he plays. He's extremely committed. He's also hilarious off the court and I have laughed many times at some of the commercials and short videos he's been in.

I don't know well about cricket. I just know about soccer. I like Gerrard the best. He is a good player and have a litlte of scandal.

Jordon was a great ball player. I got to watch him play when he wwas still number 23. It was awesome. I also really like Jason Kidd. When I was younger, baseball was my thing and I really liked the Atlanta Braves, they had a very talented team for a long time. I do have to agree however, that there are not many athletes quite like Jordan.

Michael Jordan is also my favorite. I always watched whenever there was a Chicago Bulls match. I watched how he shot and dunked the ball. He truly has can fly.

In the world of football, my answer is David Beckham. He is very famous with or without his skills, inside or outside the pitch. He's a trendsetter, a celebrity,a sportsman,and everything. Even the great Cristiano Ronaldo cannot beat his name....well not yet.

I really like the footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic (currently in Barcelona), as well as Alessandro del Piero, so it would be one of them I guess. football is my favorite sport, I guess it shows!

It's Michael Jordan for me too. He is a great basketball player and a great team leader. He was inspirational. When he was still playing, you can see how he plays with the Bulls and how his teammates would follow and respect him. He doesn't give up and would play with his heart.

I like KOBE . There are not too much reasons ,just a feeling . I like watching his games . He is not a perfact player , even in some times , his make some errors his team parters and fans can not accept . About "who is the header of NBA " , although I agree with James has better skills , I still give it to KOBE . IF there must be some reasons , I think his love to bascketball, his hard work to it can color others .

there are different favorites for different games. comes to cricket, Sachin and sehwag are my favorites. coming to soccer messi is my favorite. i have no idea about basketball, so no opinion regarding that.
