I've been awake for 24 hours now. . I know it's unhealthy. But I can't keep myself away from my computer anymore. I spend most of my time online on the PTP forum that I work for. Getting too addicted on the internet? I think so. LOL. I can't help it! All I ever do, is chat with the members, verify payout requests, and earn money in any way I can think of. I'm enjoying it very much, but I have to learn to control my time. I don't wanna waste my hard-earned money online in the hospital and medicines.

Oh, that's too much mod sophie...
I spend most of the days before on the internet but I sleep from around 11PM-4AM.
Is it worth that time for your pay in ESF and in other earning sites?
OT: Have you cyled already in Sprintwealth? I want to join the Sprintwealth Phil.Team soon!

Hahaha... That was exactly what I was thinking! Exactly! I suggested it to chey, and I found out that we are all thinking about the same thing. We kind of, had a "meeting" about it last night on skype. We are still figuring out how to do it better than the other team. I think we're gonna have another talk about it later tonight. Not so sure, but I will definitely call on you now that I know that you are interested too, (that's if you are online). LOL.

Hi basqui. Well to tell you the truth, it's not worth it. At all. If you're going to base it on the amount I'm earning there. But I'm enjoying myself when I'm doing that. Regardless of all those spams and spammers I see everyday. I enjoy talking to the friends I made there. And there is this kind of satisfaction when i work.
As for the Sprintwealth, not yet. Seriously, I'm getting irritated at the team. And I'm not the only one. Even chey, and the other ESF members that want to join or have already joined. We're planning something about it. If you would like to join, talk to one of us about it. You know where you can find us.

I used to stay up long hours to be on the computer but I don't do that much anymore. I would say it's best to utilize your time online and to prioritize. Even if the only thing you do is eat sleep and use the computer you should find time to do all three. I would say spend 6 hours a day online, with breaks every two hours, that way you can space things out and even if you only take a 15 minute break you can be away from the computer.
I know how it can be to be addicted to the computer, I'll tell you I was. There was one time when I was younger that I was on the computer all the time. Then there was also one time that I was working and this is just after I met my husband, I would go to work, come home, spend tiem on the computer, and sleep for maybe a few hours before I'd get back online and get ready for work, and then if I didn't work I'd spend time with my then bf (now husband) and hardly sleep like I should have.

Do you think that maybe you are stressed about not having a regular job and needing or wanting the money and so you justify the time you are online by saying you enjoy the forum experience? I am not saying you don't enjoy the experience, as I am sure you do, but maybe if you break it down and find out just why you stay up so late you can get into a routine of staying up maybe only 12 hours if not the 6 I suggested. This way you can sleep for 12 more or less hours, and then spend time online for 12 more or less hours, if that makes sense.
I wish you the best of luck.

I think 6 hours wouldn't be enough for me. LOL. The problem is, once you get started, you can't stop! Well, in my case that is.
It's good to hear that you have managed to change all that. Like I said on my previous comment above this, with much effort, and self discipline, I can do it. (So much for the fighting spirit! LOL).

That may be it. I haven't thought about it that way until now. But I really do enjoy doing it so much! Why don't you check it out and see for yourself? It was one of the main reasons why I became less active here in mylot (oh how i miss mylotting so much). That was a great advice. I was actually thinking about the same thing. I'm thinking of setting up a schedule, to help me adjust. Thank you very much!

lol i wasn't expecting you to reply back...i though you would in a few (many) hours later. i know i shouldn't do that for exams. But when i do go to bed, i can't fall asleep because of the sress. So instead of staring at the ceiling, i would go reread or something. But then, I realized that i panicked for nothing right after i get my grade. I will never learn. so that's makes us equal i guess. so enjoy your rest

Oh I don't do that on exams. You shouldn't too. It won't help you to concentrate much on the day of your exams. But I understand what you mean though.
Not on the bed yet. I want to sleep right now but I still can't coz I still need to finish a few things. So eager to doze off! LOL.

It is now 5:25AM. Darn it! Here I go again! LOL. I experienced that too, but usually, I don't get the chance to finish what I'm studying about coz of sleepiness. It's because it's unnatural for me to study! Hehe.. I always pass, but I don't study.
I'm gonna have to rest again after lunch in this case!

Sorry to tell u this but you should get a real job with real people that doesnt make you stay up 24 hours. At this rate you will end up in a hospital. Plus what you earn online isnt the same as earing froma actual job. Online earings should be a hobby and not a career.
Have a nice week :P

Thanks Absinto. I know, and I understand. And that's what I've been doing ever since I graduated last year. Unfortunately, employment here in the Philippines is not good. I've applied for jobs for months, but still, no luck!
Yeah, it's just a hobby. I'm not looking at it as an actual job. It's not stable. And it's not good to rely on earning online. It's just a part time job for me. I'm doing it while looking for a regular job. It's better than not earning a single cent while being unemployed. LOL.
Just applied for 3 jobs again. I hope I get lucky this time.

I am wishing you all the best in finding a real job outside the internet. But who knows, you might be one of the lucky ones who can get an online job that pays as much as an offline job, even more. I have met a lot of online friends who enjoys working at the comfort of their own homes. No call times, no traffic, no nasty office mates. You just have to be well disciplined and meet the need of your clients on time.

I too spend far more time online trying to earn, but not by choice I have totally exhausted my job search with absolutely no success. So while I am trying to earn my next buck I apply here there and everywhere with no luck.
I am at a point of exhaustion as I am trying to do both as looking for a job is a full time job in itself. Trying to earn the next dime online as well.

Well, I don't really consider this a real job. It's just a hobby for me. A hobby where I earn money while enjoying myself. And it's great. But still, a regular job is much more stable. Not unless you are earning big online that you already managed to save a decent amount of money. An amount of money that is enough to start your own business where you can continue earning.

you must have a sleep 5-8 hours a day to regain more strength for another day. I've tried that also awake for 3 days with 24hrs but sad to say i end up to hospital for 1 week. bad for health.

I recall reading a study years ago where they took people into environments without windows or clocks to see what our real natural sleep times are. There were some people who actually gradually moved into a 36 hour day, being awake 24 hours and sleeping 12. I don't remember how much was working and how much was recreation.
As long as your body doesn't complain to you about your hours, I see nothing wrong. Only you can really decide that though.
I hope you have a chair that supports you properly!

I have tried staying awake for 24 hours and it hit me hard the big time. That was when I was working double shift and it gave me dark circles, eye bags and make me look like 10 years older after a week. WaaaaaaaaHhhh!!! Also gave me headaches and it sucked so bad.
It's really unhealthy and it's like the money you earn is meant for your soon-to-be hospital bills.

I definitely don't wanna look 10 years older! So I'm gonna have to make this change happen! LOL.

Lucky for you that you can stay 24 hours in front of the computer with out getting sleepy. Because i really tried doing just like that but every time the clock strike at 12 midnight my eyes begun to drop and it's about time to turn off the computer.
I think my body can not really adopt to working long hours.
The only thing I can say to you is that don't ever make it a hobby because you might get sick and it will be hard spending your hard earned money paying the doctors and nurses in the hospital.

Maybe you are used to sleeping early that's why your body can't adopt to satying up past 12. Yup, that's why I'm trying my hardest to control this. I wouldn't want to spend my online money in hospitals, doctors and medicines.

That's right. Health is wealth. That's why I'm trying my hardest to control my time online. It's not easy, since I'm already used to it. I don't always stay up for 24 hours though, but I still sleep so late. But I know, that with much effort and self discipline, I can do it. Have a nice day!

Without thinking, just shut your computer down !! Even a machine can be broke one day.So, for a minutes, stop thinking about internet, and do other thing for a chance. You need your sleeping time, so take it. If you get sick, you wont be online at all, and it'll drive you crazy.

My boyfriend is addicted to computers too and that's mostly what we argue about because he tends to stay really late in front of the computer and will sleep the entire day without waking up to eat.., It's very unhealthy and I've told him about it.., He doesn't take me really seriously... Ugh!

Well, it's really hard to just change what you have been used to in a snap. I understand your point though. Explain it to him instead of nagging about it (not saying that you are, it's just if you are. LOL). And try to make a condition or some kind of a deal, or talk him into setting up a schedule for his hobby. Not sure if that can really work, but it might. It won't hurt to try. But believe me, it's hard! so don't push him too hard. I say take it slowly.

So sorry miss, It is very bad to hear that you are always in system. Your health condition will be spoiled. Your eyes will get tired and you may get back pain. Your mental status will be gone wrong. You will got irritation on seeing others. You don't even like others to speak with you. Please change your habit. All the best....

Whatever your job may be, you should not work 24 hours in a day. You have take a sleep of about 6 hours in a day, otherwise you will feel sick very soon and all your hard earned money will be spent to pay the hospital bills. So be careful.
