Mirror Image

hi 3snugglebunnies this reminds me there is a woman perhaps still alive who looks just like me except an inch taller. I found out when I was inb my twenties and going home for the weekend from my hospital job. I was standing waiting for my bus. Suddently someone grabbed me, spun me around and kissed me thoroughly. a young man in a uniform finally let me go'when he found out I was not Ruthie,his girl friend. he was so embarrassed then showed me her picture. She had the same last name as mine.She looked like my twin except she was maybe an inch taller. Later I found out some sobering truth, we were related, my dad had played around and fathered her o ut of wedlock. he did give her his last name and paid her way through college and mypoor mom never knew about this.

Now I've heard that many times, but I've never actually seen the person I was being compared to! Except for my sister, of course. :D

Maybe it's true we all do have a twin in the world. I know that many people seem to think they know me but they don't. If it's my twin they know I hope she is living a life I could be proud of or at least interested in.

Wow! I have never met anyone who looks like me. It must be an eerie experience seeing someone who looks like you.How does it make you feel? do you think that you could be related in some way?

She looks a lot like my mom, so I guess you and she could be twins and for that matter you and I could be twins as well because I am a mirror image of my mother. That said, it wasn't all that long ago that there was a gal that responded to one of my discussions that thought I looked just like her daughter in law. The only way that she was able to differentiate that I wasn't her was that my kids are different ages and I also live in a different place than her daughter in law. We really all do have at least one twin.

cool! maybe there is such a thing as a doppelganger... :D I'd love to find mine... we'd be best buddies!

I have seen people that reminded me of other people, but not lately. Now we know what you look like. The great thing is, at least to me, she is a likable character in this commercial and she has a pleasant voice as well.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone who could pass for my twin.. though when I was in school I always got that "you look like someone I know" but I never met whoever they were talking about. My hubby gets it a lot though.. actually one day the kids and I mistook one of hubby's co-workers for him.. it was sort of funny. I was at the gas station which was just 2 businesses down from hubby's store. I was waiting in line at the pump and his work truck pulled up behind me. A bald guy with a dark goatee gets out and starts walking into the gas station. I'm dumbfounded as to why he wouldn't come say hi to us.. and the little 2 boys are in the back seat screaming to their daddy who's totally ignoring us. When he comes out I see it's not really my husband, it was a guy called H.J. who'd recently started at that store and I hadn't actually met yet. They don't have the same facial features and H.J. is slightly bigger and taller than my hubby but you can only tell the difference when you're looking closely.

Wow! That is amazing that you have someone that looks just like you. I have always heard that everyone has a "twin" out there somewhere. Apparently you found yours.
