People say that most famous singers in the 21st century can't sing live. Some singers rely heavily on autotune and other gadgets in the studio, so their voice sound comparatively bad live. Others simply lipsync!
Now list some singers who can perform well - LIVE!
I'll start with Enrique (not sure if he's lip syncing though)

Well, I listen mostly to singers who have experience in musical theatre, because they are always performing live, and therefore can do so well. They also have the ability to entertain a live audience, that I think makes their recordings even better. My all time favorite singer is one of these: Adam Pascal, who is closely followed by Anthony Rapp. I could go on and list all of my favorites, but this probably wasn't the type of answer you were looking for, so I won't. :P

Definitely Lady Gaga.. That girl is crazy but she can sing, and she can sing good.
Adam Lambert sings well live. Well obviously... Because he's from American Idol. Justin Bieber sings live, his voice is changing though so its not all that great. Katy Perry is also a decent singer.
There's a Canadian singer named Lights who I thought was amazing live.. She is very talented.

I love Lady Gaga as well. She is a true artist in every way possible, and she has a really great voice to go with that.
Lights is a really popular singer here in Canada, I've been to one of her concerts. She has a very different voice, but seeing her in concert was just.. WOW, she's REALLY talented as well. Her and Lady Gaga are my favorite singers right now.

To be honest with you, I DON'T like Lady Gaga. She's just too crazy for me. However, I agree with you - she CAN sing. My friend went to one of her concerts and he told me that. (But he said that the volume of the music was so loud that her head was literally vibrating!)

yeah.. coz the music industry prefers to commercialize looks rather on voice talent.. well, Enrique lip syncs.. I saw it through "so you think you can dance" it was so obvious and he just acted like he really was singing..that was good acting he better be an actor than of as a singer. :C
