For many people I am sure Facebook can affect a relationship. Because just like in Chat rooms, groups, etc. it is very easy to get so involved in something or someone to where you neglect your family and your life and easily could become entangled with someone else. Even here we need to watch that we do not spend so much time that we neglect our duties in the home to have others always mad at us. To me this means balance which can be hard, but worth it so much more in the end.

Affecting the relationships of what? I think that many young people who use facebook actually forget that it's much better to speak to each other face to face, and will sit on facebook instead all day without thinking what else they could be doing that would be so much better.
I also think that facebook might be the cause of many arguments between people, as they would see what other people had been posting, and might not fully understand why they'd posted it, and therefore might take offence at it.

In the last 3 weeks, I have spent more time on facebook for a reason. There is a missing 6 y.o. girl. She is a friend's grandchild. There are many groups regarding this child, so I have been search these groups for any information that could help with the investigation. My partner has noticed the increase in time on facebook and had said something. I got upset over it and said, what would he do if this child was a child of one of his friends. He couldn't answer me.
But yes, it can affect relationships if we lose ourselves in facebook. So it is important to set aside time just to concentrate on relationships.

it can affect relationship.., if you find your partner spying on another girl's profile.., you would suspect something or if you find your boyfriend's picture with another lady.., that will definitely be a big problem.., so with facebook.., there a lot of possible relationship issues that can occur..=)
