No, but I think the technical effects were the best (then the breathtaking Avatar came). I was not a fan of the romance. For the most part, it started out with lust-at-first-sight. I cannot deny Kate Winslet's stellar performance though. Although they do have great chemistry, the romance is weighed down by the shallowness of physical relationships. The only parts with real emotional was when the Titanic was sinking and the preacher praying. That was executed perfectly.

Well i feel this is a brilliant movie and very touching love story. I feel this is one of the best ever in hollywood for sure!

yes it is the best in many aspect but not only the best movie in the hollywood. There are my movies which are far better thn Titanic.

I absolutely love "Titanic" and thought it was the best movie of all time. That was until I saw "Avatar" in 3D. It was amazing!! Both of these films are by James Cameron so I can't wait to see what he does next!
