World War III?

Please no. I do not wish for this. But do imagine this (note some things i say might sound a bit racist or what ever. I do not intend this so please please please don't be offended)
As money/food/water gets tighter I bet the true human nature of survival of the fittest will come out. With things such as global warming and nuclear bombs think about that.
People will start to get intolerant of each other. People WILL try to dominate each other. This will lead to the next war. Which I hope never happens and i hope I am just mad.
Please tell me what you guys think of this topic. It is very sensitive so please be careful.

I have read in one article that World War III will happen in October 2010. But I don't believe in it. That article was wrote by a prophet that has successful predict about Nazi and a drowned submarine in USA. She tells that China will be the new power of the world. Europe will ruined because of the nuclear war. :D

Hi hari, I too hope that there will not be another world war but you do make a good point. Most of us who live in the western world know nothing about having to go hungry, in fact many of us demand a lot more than we need and feel that it's our right. I know that there are many rich people in other parts of the world as well, but there are millions who are hungry. This world produces enough for everyone's need but not enough for everyone's greed. Things cannot remain this way forever. Blessings.

Yes I agree, I think its humanities greed that will kill our race. Well we will eventually kill each other off. I would not want to have this come to life though. I wish it was just as easy as telling people to change. It is always good in theory but fails in practise.
Its sad that millions have to suffer while some people live in extreme opulence. Why does a billionaire have to keep his billions? What in the world will he do with so much money?
These are the things I ask myself.

What you are visualising is a practical possibility due to scarce resources.But that scenario would be a civil war where each person fights with the other to get better resources.Can this scenario lead to a world war?I'm apprehensive.Unless one nation wants to plunder the natural resources of the other and other nations take sides i don't think the scenario you are presenting will lead to a world war.It might lead to people fighting with one another for scarce natural resources.

If one country has more resources than another. This could lead to pillaging and plunder. I am finding it hard to portray what I mean exactly because I am so sleepy. But lets say one country has a higher demand because they have more people. They could use their brute strength military wise to bully smaller countries into submitting their resources.
Lets face it when faced with adversity we will show our natural animal instinct of survival of the fittest.

I don't believe that the world war III will happen in the future or in the recent years. because the world war that will take place need a few important points .
A: the super country which has enough strong power to support the long war;
B: the country meet the depression or need the war to avoid the economic recession or release the pressure that the people produce
C: there are many the instable factors.
they are the main points above all I think.
so the world war III will not take place .

I guess world war III is happening now. It's not about violent killings with armors and soldier everywhere. World war III is felt in every human's fight for survival in this climate changing world, growing economic crisis, and society filled with racial discrimination.

If there was a World War 3. I hope it wont last long because i want to live in a country where this is peace not violence ( not like that isn't already happening.

I don't think that anyone wants World War III, but the saddest thing is, there is nothing to indicate that it won't happen. There is so much war going on in this world that it is like we are in World War III already. Things look pretty grim right now.

It is unfortunate but desperation causes people to do odd and crazy things for what they consider survival. If only people would come together in time of need, this would be a better place for all.
A good example we all have supposed great friends who while we are doing well, oh yeah it is a hi and how are you doing. But when we are down on our luck where are they, it is as if we do not even exist. I guess what I am trying to say is that people do not help each other as they profess to say they do, the old phrase to each is own is what leads to destruction. Too sad really.
