Are you the type of putting everyday details on your wall?

I have noticed that most of my friends keep on posting their wall like almost every hour just by telling the whole world what they are doing on that specific hour, honestly I am one of those who gets annoyed with these shallow post. But no matter how unhappy I am seeing these still it's their right to post whatever they wanted in their own wall. How about you? are you this type?

I do not post much details about me on Facebook, if I share/write something over there, it becomes public and does not remain private.

I don't post much at all on my facebook page. I have friends that write everything they do online, but I don't like being that open with my ideas and thoughts.

No, I don't usually do that even I do a lot of things I don't post it on my wall, I just don't want to share all the things that I do every hour or every day. My friends do that same things they always put anything on their wall, whatever things that comes into their they put it, their feelings in that day, anything..

No. Never. I have never been that way. I don't update everyone in my facebook friends about almost every move I make because its makes me feel that people might think that I'm an attention-seeker. That is just my opinion if I do such thing myself. I don't have anything against anyone who posts almost every detail of their lives, or their days on their facebook wall. It's own free will to do so.

I was ranting about this a few months ago. It seems that people can't help but post everything that is happening to them in Facebook. Yet, they would like to have privacy! What is that???
It annoys me really because I can't help but think that they just need the attention.
I don't post everything on my wall. I rarely post something there. I think people should take control of what they say or post in Facebook. Too much information can break you too.
As for avoiding their messages, I do remove posts or notifications so that I no longer have to handle a lot of notification emails from Facebook because one of my 'friends' is ranting like there's no tomorrow.

That's what I did too to get rid of those notifications, I edited my mail settings.

You are exactly right... it is their right to post whatever they want even if you find it boring or annoying. I to find it really boring to see all the stupid things people post such as I'm eating dinner or goodnight I'm going to bed. Like jeez make it a little more fun to read. Who wants to comment on something like that. I dont need to know every single thing people do right down to the minute. I write about whats going on during my day like how my son took cranberry sauce and rubbed it on the carpet and drove his trucks through it. Or like today how hard it was for me to send my daughter back to school. My posts are rarely boring.

i am not the type who puts everything on my wall. i guess there are things that should be kept privately. sometimes me and my friends put lyrics of a sing then the comment will be giving the next stanza and on and on. it was fun. a friend of mind will be giving a line from a movie then we will all say what we have in mind. i have friends who puts very personal details but i dont comment with that. sometimes we put what we are craving for and its fun to see other people's reaction.

I agree, it sure is their right to post anything they want to tell the whole facebook world. But as a friend, I guess I'll remind them about the possible consequences of this. It's nice to tell your friends about updates about yourself but too much is a bad thing. It's always good to leave something for yourself. I get annoyed too when I see multiple posts about another person's life. That's the reason why I don't do this.

These friends of yours should be on twitter, as I believe that was the initial intention of twitter. Every hour is a bit too much, what if someone was trying to track them down, as this makes it easy for them to be found.

I only put up something in facebook if my mood is good or bad other all times i just pop in to see who's online and whats going on and so on. If i find someone i would just sit and chat with that person for as long as i can. Usually i can't find friends everyday so i try to while away the time on net by mylot or maybe by playing some games.
Facebook for me is a good way of keeping in touch with friends. I love it.
Cheers!

Setting your mood is just alright but putting something like "I have just taken my lunch here in the fancy restaurant" that's too arrogant.

Posting or updating their moods is just alright when you really want to vent out those, but posting updates like almost every hour gosh that's a whole lot of emotion!

Not really every hour. Just when I start my day, sometimes not. But I always post something when I am about to logged out. I check my wall everyday, so that will be the post where I'll end checking my wall. I like reading posts. Some are annoying though, but it's their choice, I just respect it.
