Which do you prefer? And what are the advantages/disadvantages of your choice? I'm planning to open either of the two and still deciding what's more okay between them. Please help me decide by sharing your thoughts

I preferred to have them both which is Debit and Credit Card at the same time. Well, here in Kuwait we cannot have a Credit Card if we do not have a sufficient Debit Card amount but during my travel especially in Europe country it is very useful to have Credit Card rather than the Debit.

For day to day i prefer debit card, i have a credit card but i use it in case of emergency, sometimes i try not to use it a lot, you can a credit card, i you know how to used, because we get crazy just because it have a great limit, but the problem is when you can't pay the money you spend in the credit card, the interest of it are very high and affect your credit score.

With a debit card, you would have control over the amounts you will spend, since payments will be approved only if there is sufficient balance in your account. With a credit card, you will tend to keep using on and on, and the amount owed to the card will keep building up. Some people tend to enjoy that, but that becomes burdonsome as the amount accummulates.

Choosing a debit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo on them is usually the safest bet. Being a debit card, it will pull directly from your account so that you do not overspend and are not charged fees. But you can use this card as a credit card for thoses places that do not accept credit.

Hi,
In my opinion debit card is less riskier than credit card. With credit card you buy on credit, which means the more you buy the more money you owe to the issuing bank. I've seen so many people going bankrupt. Sometimes credit card has some impositions on your purchase, but that restriction doesn't help a lot. Purchasing things often possesses the person and the credit card wreaks havoc. In case of debit card your purchase can't exceed the amount of money you have in your account. The knowledge of the balance serves as a psychological imposition itself. Due to these restrictions a debit card is way safer than a credit card. Thanks.
God bless you

In good faith, I suggest you from bottom of my heart, that you should go for a debit card than that of a credit card. It is because, debit card will allow you to expend only upto what you have in your hand, which is not the case with credit cards, when we have an option/availability we tend to spend more. More over the charges for credit card are a bit higher and those for debit card is negligible. I agree that once in a while credit card helps in times of difficulties but that one time comes usually after a very long time, and family and friends are always with us.
