I used to be a huge horror fan. When I was like 4 or 5 I would stay up late and watching Freddy and Jzason movies. I loved to be scared. I loved haunted houses and Halloween was my favorite holiday. It still is my favorite but the gore and blood and kill scenes I once loved now make me sick. Maybe it's because I have kids now I don't know but I can't watch really gruesome movies. Like the Saw movies- i hate em, I have to cover my face with a pillow during some kill scenes. I think it might be because i can imagine myself being in that certain situation. We watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre- the Beginning last night. That movie scared the crap out of me. The kill scenes were so real and it was like what if that were me? My husband was saying how the old man who plays the sherrif is so old that he could take him out. I probably would be too scared to even speak let alone try to fight. Unless he was trying to drag me into the basement with Leatherface, then yes I would attempt to fight but I know I would still get tortured and my skin ripped off in the end. Making me sick just typing this....

I too is a huge horror fan, because I really do focus watching this kind of movies, and I don't want to miss even a lil part of it, unlike other type of movies I tend to get sleepy if I'm being bored. But then there was a bad effect to me at night, I have nightmares, and sometimes I tend to avoid watching horror movies when I know I'm alone at night....
happy mylotting!
