Imagine that you have the chance to learn two things and you are offered an experienced teacher and free lessons. The first thing is something that you have already tried. You have some experience, but you would like to improve your skills and your knowledge. The second thing is something that you have never tried before, but always wanted to try or learn. Which things would you choose?
I would like to improve my writing and my art, but if I were only able to choose one thing I would choose art I think. It is a bit easier for me practice writing on my own. I am already partipated in writing courses and seminars, but I have never had any art lessons.
The second thing is a tough choice, because there are several things that I would like to learn I might choose music lessons. I always wanted to play the guitar or the violin, and I would love to get violin lessons or guitar lessons.

I love to dance a lot so that would be my first choice. I had some basic training on Street Dancing and Social Dances but I'd still want to improve it and have some professional training.
My second choice would be learning to play piano. It has always been my dream to be able to play the pieces of Mozart, Beethoven, etc.

Dancing lessons sound interesting. I had dancing lessons many years ago. I learned different dances, but that was so long ago and I don't really remember much of it, because I have only used a small part of it. I took piano lessons when I was younger, but I don't have a piano in my home, so I don't play much. Some of the pieces by Beethoven and Mozart are very beautiful, I love listening to my friend when she play the pieces by Mozart. I hope that you will get the chance to fullfill your dream and learn to play the piano

I can tell from your response that you are interested in internet and computers. Yes, there are a lot of websites and resources available in other languages. I don't know any Chinese sites, because I am not able to read Chinese, but I can imagine that there are a lot of different sites and resources. I don't know a lot about computers, but I am interested in learning more.

First thing that I like to improve is my English communication skills. I can speak English but I do like to improve my pronunciation and grammar. I have long considered attending English proficiency classes and it would definitely be better if someone offers it for me free.
As for something that I never tried before and would like to try is singing. I have never sang in front of a crowd or anyone except my mom and my ever criticizer younger brother. I really wanna try to sing. I don't have ambitions to be a singer but I just really wanna know how to sing.
As for your picks, what particular art are you into? Painting, murals, etc.? I definitely admire a person with artistic abilities because I for one is not gifted in that field. As for music lessons, you can learn guitar on your own if you really want to. But it definitely helps if someone is there to guide and assist you. As of experience, I attended guitar lessons for about 4 months and after that, I relied on the internet to get some guitar lessons and tutorials.. and I can play guitar better now than before. So can you. :)
Best of luck. Thanks for sharing

English communication skills that is a good choice. English is not my first language, and I think that a class like that could also be useful for me, but that is quite is expensive, so I study on my own instead. Singing lessons also sound interesting. I like to sing. I am an average singer, and I don't think that I am ever going to sing at a concert or something like that, but I enjoy singing. Yes, I am going to try to learn to play the guitar, that has been one of my dreams for a long time. Thanks for your encouragement
I like to draw and paint, but most of the time I spend on painting. Some of my paintings are abstract and others are a mixture of paint and paper. I use pictures from old magazines and I try to combine them in funny or unusual ways.

Ok, so I'll put it this way.
Option 1: Something I know, but would like to learn more would be playing Tennis.
Option 2: Something I don't know, but so willing to learn would be Japanese language.
I would choose, option 2. Why? I know basic Tennis, I do however want to continue playing it and learn more. So I'll probably just enroll into one if I already have the right money. I choose option 2 because, I find it difficult, though I could learn it by myself, it will be better for me if someone teaches me. I could however enroll myself into one, but I just want to learn for fun. If ever I want a change in career however, I'd continue studying on it further.

If I will be given a chance to learn two things, the first one would be learning to "Forgive and Forget". I don't know but it is really hard for to forget what the people have done to me. I tried to set aside the past but that is always the issue with me. I would love to live in love, not in hatred. I am doing my best to learn this thing. And I hope I will eventually learn it as soon as possible.
Anyway, the second one will be learning to make a good music. I love to write poems and I would love to transform those poems into a song. Every writings that I make are full of love and feelings. I hope I could fill some music in it.
Well, that is all. Happy mylotting!

Learning to forgive and forget has also been a challenge for me, and in some situations it still is, but I am getting better at it. I can't change the past, but I can change the way that I live to day, and I try to focus on the positive things.
I like your idea about turning your poems into songs. I write poems as well and I have had similar thoughts. I have never tried it, but the idea appeals to me. I don't know much about song writing and I have thought about asking a musician for help and maybe we could create some songs together.

This is a very interesting question. Sounds easy but I find it hard to answer because there are lots of things that I want to learn.
For the first one, I'd like to improve my self-confidence/self-esteem. That has been my problem for years. Yes, I can speak in front of people but its really hard for me. And sometimes I'm just too negative because I lack self-confidence/self-esteem.
For the second one, ah this is a tough one! I'm a frustrated in a lot of things. But my top two would be music and art lessons. Music includes singing, dancing, playing guitar, piano, drums. But if I really have to choose one, I'd pick art lessons. I've always wanted to express myself through artworks.

Pretty interesting question. I'd like to learn sign language. I know a little, but not enough to really have a conversation. Second, I've always wanted to learn how to swing dance. I have a thing for the 1940's, so that would be fun. I've never learned how to dance.

Hi Porcospino
Well, for the first category, I would love to learn the art of DIPLOMACY. I am a straightforward guy who kind of wears his heart on his shirt. I speak out what I feel and never think of what will be its impact. I have lost many a deals due to this and so I would love to learn the art of Diplomacy and Tactfulness.
For the second category, I would like to learn to fly a spaceship. Astronomy was my first love or crush (as it was at school). I wanted to pursue it as a career but way back in 1989 there was not much awareness on how to go about this thing in India. So my dreams went unfulfilled.
