Giving Plasma Pos/Neg

I've been giving plasma and was wondering if anyone has had any bad experiences other than just a little pain in their arms? I've been giving it for about 7 months now couple of times a week. do you think their is any long term affects? I think it is good for the simple fact that you can help people who need plasma and change their lives but I have heard that people who receive plasma if they don't have insurance pay quite a bit for it at hospitals. It's not right to take donations and then turn around and make a profit. but anyway what do you think??
