Doctors would always say that we should drink 8 glasses of water everyday to keep ourselves hydrated and healthy.
But most of the time when I'm not at home, I don't think I could keep count as to drink 8 glasses a day. That's because when I'm out I usually grab juice, cold tea or soft drinks.
That is why when I'm home I always make to a point to drink plenty natural water.
Do drink 8 or more glasses of water daily?

This is a new step for me as since last October 2009 I began to drink water for the first time in my life. I can tell you I started with a bottle early morning and it would be 5 pm and I only had like 3 sips.
So one day I decided when always in my car I drink tea, and or soft drinks why on earth can't I psyche myself in to doing the same with water. So I began to guzzle long zips at a time. Making sure I had not soft drinks and or juices anywhere in site. In as little as 4 fours days water is all I drank and funny thing I could not picture drinking anything but water with meals.
Along with my newly found exercise routine, I drink almost a gallon a day and although I was over weight I have lost 60 lbs and my skin has never so healthy and clear as it does now.

My doctor recommends me to drink fluid minimum of 2 liters per day to keep me dehydrated. She also recommends Gatorade cause she says its better than water. Juice and tea's are also ok but not softdrinks. As long as you consume 2 liters of fluid whether it's water or juice, it's good.

Yeah drinking eight glasses of water every day is good for you. I don't know how many glasses of water I drink a day, but I know that I am never able to drink eight glasses each day. I also drink green tea every other day, but that doesn't taste so good it tastes bad and like it has no flavor at all except the flavor of herbs and those do not taste so good herbs just taste like herbs and nothing else to it. Yeah though drinking water like eight glasses a day washes out all the toxins that may be in your body which is very good for ones health.

I drink plenty of water every day -- hopefully 8 glasses!! I usually carry a water bottle around with me so I can stay hydrated.
Today I'm sick so I have made sure that I drink a lot of water. I've probably had about 15 glasses of water... lol haha -- it's probably true though!!

Through a doctor's recommendation, drinking 8 glasses of water is just an average guage for everybody. However, the amount of water we must drink, depends on our body as well as our activity for the day. Let's say, 8 glasses of water might be a little too much for someone who's at home all day long, but that amount if water is considered too little for one spending most of their day under the sun.
Thus 8 glasses of water daily is just a guideline and not to follow blindly. I don't drink 8 glasses of water everyday, instead I'm drinking 4 bottles of 60ml water.

I try my best to drink plenty of fluids every day. I notice that I drink more when I am at work. The air there is so dry and makes my mouth dry. I drink more when I am sure that I am near a bathroom.
I know that more water flushes toxins and wastes from your body. Also, I think that water helps fill you up so you don't eat as much.

I don't. I used to believe that too but when I watched The Doctor's show, I learned that we don't need to drink 8 glasses of water everyday because 75% of our body is water and to maintain that, we can also drink juices, eat fruits, and veges. It doesn't have to be 100% H20 for a day! I wouldn't drink sodas though cause they're loaded with sugar and sugar can make you more thirstier. Good post! Let's drink water to that. lol

Well, this is actually the main reason why I always bring my backpack with me. Coz inside it is my jug of water. haha I'm 24 already but I still bring it even in the office. Without enough water, I CANNOT survive. That's just my source of energy. Water keeps me going all day. I see to it that I drink not at least, but should be more than 8 glasses of water. And before I sleep, I always drink one glass of milk. Trust me, do this technique and you won't regret it. You'll feel more relaxed all day and you'll be able to use your mind effectively. Not to mention the effect that it has in our skin and digestion.

Hi,
For me, I do drink lot of water, but I don't
count on how many glasses of water I have drink in
a day.I always standby a bottle of water in my car when
I am driving.
Sometimes, I do get heaty if I drink less water especially
during hot season.
It is best to drink plenty of water, good for health and won't easily
get heaty.
