have you ever slept in the classroom????????

I've personally only fallen asleep in class a few times, but my teachers never cared. I know some people though that would fall asleep, and get yelled at! It was quite amusing in my opinion. But all is good since most of those people passed the class. I think I should video tape some instances like that next time!

I've never fallen asleep in class, but I've been in classes where other people have. Usually the teacher doesn't "punish" them, they just figure that if someone falls asleep and misses out on information, it's their own fault.

I have slept in the classroom before and I slept in front the lecturer. I felt sorry for that because I was busy for school activities and I didn't sleep for the whole day night before the class. I didn't get punishment from my lecturer, guess that she know I'm tired, because most of the time I am paying attention in class and participate in most of the Q and A section. I will try get other thing to do like drawing on a paper or playing games with my cellphone to keep me awake if I find the class is boring. I think being caught if we do other thing in class is better than being caught when we sleep in class.

Many times. My teacher was so boring and I cannot help myself from falling sleep.

I also didn't sleep in my classroom......But my friend was a expert of this technic. I call it technic because it take guts to sleep in the class and need some adjustment. He always said to his partner to just watch his back while he is sleep and he go to sleep with book in front of his face.........He sure is a good sleeper.....

I never had the chance to sleep in the class. Because im always sitting in front of the teacher/professors. Hahahahaha. But anyway, some feel sleepy in the class because there working student. Well I knew some of my classmate sleep over our class.

I think i did that once. And I did that when we were having a class. But I didnt do that anymore cause it was so embarrassing. I also had a classmate like that. He also likes to sleep in the classroom.

Hi abj163 I just wanna say: no one hadn't slept in classroom! I always sleep in classroom! By the way, I think you are really good student. I am not. haha, keep going! And ofcourse, if I really enjoy that class, I won't sleep in class. Only boring class!

No I never slept in the classroom.I felt sleepy in the class but there were other boys who were always slept in the class.Nowadays our education system only concentrating on studies infact only on marks.So there is no real enjoyment for students.So classroom is a good place to sleep.

yup i have done it and it is not somehing to be proud of.Teachers consiter sleeping as a sign of disrespect as well it shows that you don't get enough sleep a night.If somehow someone falls asleep in class then they should go home as they are not learning anyting just sleeping there.Then again if they drove their in a car it would be best if they just sleep in the cafeteria or something away from students trying to learn.

omg. i would have to say, yes *with my head down* lol i did fall asleep in class before. but i was in high school, and i didn't care. lol but now, i hate seeing people going to sleep in a college class. i mean we pay for teachers to teach us, and i think its just rude. i know what i did in high school was wrong, but it was just once. but anyway. i am happy to say, i have not gone to sleep in any college classes. yayy!!

No I have never fallen asleep in class, but I have gotten sleepy and shut my eyes during class. Though I would open my eyes when I hear the teacher heading my way. Especially when I was in my history class or if we had to be in the library to research something up that wasn't interesting for language arts class. Now one of my friends did fell asleep in class and got caught. The teacher gave him detention and made him to stand up and stay standing for the remainder of class so he wouldn't fall asleep again.

hi, ya, i used to. but not during schooling , it was during my under graduate program. because you know i was sitting at the last bench of the class room. Being a govt art and science student , i did nothing different. as soon as our staff come inside our class i use to lay down on writing pad. then what, its been a nice nap of great dream. and in our college we people at last bench do this often.

Back in highschool, there were certain classes that I used to catch up my sleep from staying up too late the night before. History was a class that it was especially easy to pull that off in because the teacher just talked and droned on and did little in the way of keeping it interesting. After highschool though, any classes that I took were classes that I had to pay for. It did not matter how boring the teacher might be or how tired I was, I forced myself to stay awake and try to focus on what was being said. I was, after all, now paying out of my pocket for these classes and there was no way I was going to pay that amount of money and fall asleep.

Fortunately, i have never fallen asleep in the classroom. There was always at least one student, usually in the back of the class that went to sleep on a regular basis. Sometimes the teacher was aware and sometimes it got by them. Punishment was usually conducted with a little embarrassment for the student as well. it never stopped them from doing it again. I even had a teacher who fell asleep during class. You can see how productive that classroom was!

I have never slept during an actual class, when the teacher was teaching. Of course, one would argue that it took every bit of self control that I had. There are times where teachers just droned on and on and they nearly put me to sleep. They should have really released tapes of their lectures and market them for a cure from insomnia. They'd make far more than they would be with a teacher. In study hall is when I slept a lot of the time. The teacher who oversaw the Study Hall did not care, as long as we were quiet a lot of the time. Homework, reading, drawing on paper, sleeping, whatever. I tended to get caught up on my sleep when I did not have homework. Of course, it was sleeping in the loosest sense of the world, as I just had my head on the desk, resting my eyes, but still, it was a wonderful state. I had a Trapper Keeper(remember those), that I used for a pillow.

A couple of times. The worst was when my teacher kick me out of the classroom because I snored. I was really tired because of a project I need to finish the night before so I can't help it but doze off. I was really embarrassed but I still attended that class.

I don't think I ever really fell asleep in the classroom. I remember a few times being so bored and tired that my eyes would get really heavy and I would almost be out. But for the most part I would be in classes that weren't too boring and kept my interest. I do know people who use to fall asleep in class and not even care. One of my them was my friend and she would get so mad because the teacher would send her down to the office because of it but she NEVER wanted to participate in class anyways.
