There's this guy that I like. I know he likes me too, but how do we know if that "like" has finally developed into something else deeper, and much more meaningful? I don't want to be imagining things that aren't there.... so how can you tell whether something is real or not???

Aside from an unrequited love, the most confusing feelings would be those that are not being uttered. However, even if you feel that he is treating you special and it looks like he feels the same way as you do to him, you should not think ahead of it. Just like in the constitution said, "Do not assume otherwise stated." That way you can preserve yourself from being hurt just in case that in his part, the situation does not deepen yet.

He kissed me. I kissed him back. But that's it. Nothing more nothing less. We talk for hours we talk a lot.... he knows I like him, but he probably doesn't understand it's serious. And I don't know, if he's just gaming or what. But I don't think he is... or maybe I want to think he's not (playing).... I dont know... d'oh...

rather than just keep hoping and dreaming, why do not you who first started saying that you like him. Believe me, this an age of emancipation of women, there's nothing wrong if lady became who first says love

Sigh! This reminds me when I met my girlfriend. Both of you will know eventually if you two were meant to be. Time will tell as to how the budding relationship would turn out in the end. As of the moment, enjoy each others company. Continue with your friendship for it is the vehicle towards a more deeper relationship. To give you an idea whether both of you are ready to take it to the next level do observe yourselves does this relationship makes you better persons? Have you not shunned others from your lives i.e. your friends and family? How do you see life in general? Do not worry if the guy has not yet told you anything, give him time and he will find the words to express his feelings for you (Believe me!). Happy MyLotting, and the best for both of you. :)

After a while you can tell if your feeling are true or not. Just be true to yourself, think about it, hang out a bit more and see if it helps you figure anything out. :)

The only thing I can say is to just be up front and honest and ask him. I know it's hard and no one wants to ask something like that and find out the other person really doesn't feel the same but at the same time it's the only real way to find the answer!
