Late for schooL!

I was so late for class today. It had started raining early in the morning and i was really happy and i thought maybe no one would go to school today and i decided to take a nap. When i woke up i realized that it had stopped raining but the ground was obviously so muddy and had lots of water puddles. However i managed to get ready and went to school. But when i reached i was already half an hour late and i decided to attend the next class and no the present one as there were only 20 more minutes for the class to end...
What do you do when you are running late for school? Do you skip the class or do you come to the class dripping wet and soaked in rain or maybe you would have your reasons for not attending classes?

Well if it comes to class my motto is better late than never. However, as time goes by I tried not to be late because I felt it is embarrassing having to come late and caught the class entire attention.
Nevertheless, when it comes to can't be avoided incidence, my motto does not change.

When I am late for school, I usually do not attend class. However, before being late, I make sure that I am able to skip that lesson. Otherwise, I will make sure make sure that I will reach school on time.
Apart from that, I try to not reach class early too. Every one of my friends usually reach about 5-10 minutes late. And I don't want to be the only one in the class with the lecture inside.
Ironic isn't it? Not too late, but not too early as well.
I try not to go into class when I am late as it seems to be exceptionally embarrassing.

If possible, i won't want to be late for school. It's going to be so embarassing when i'm caught, because i have to stand in front of the whole school during the next day's assembly in the morning. Other than that, i have to stay back after school, to compensate for lateness in the morning.
But when i'm in college, things are so much different, because of the freedom there. I'm free to attend any lessons i like, but i'm only allowed to miss 3 per subject per semester. As such, if i'm late, i will rush for class, but only to leave halfway through the class, when my attendance has been noted.

Im always late haha i usually get up 5 minutes before the bell goes but I only try to get up early when its assembly that day coz then I cant sit with my friends and need to sit with the lower grades haha
