I had changed four times my cell phone, the first cell phone I brought exchanged because it did not have camera, later I exchanged it for use of GPRS facility, then I changed it for better use of 3G and internet. Now I am going well with this present phone I have. Mostly I changed my cell phone due the advancement in technology. Still for my own advancement I would like to go with present technology in the market, may be a part of developing myself. Moreover I feel that the price do also matter. I feel if these new technology cell phones are available in cheap prices more and more people would be able to use and they would also upgrade or development.

I have changed my cellphone 6 times. My first phone is Nokia 3310. This is my first phone and it lasts for 5 years before my parents decided to buy me new one, which is Nokia 3220. This is my first camera phone. Then when I graduated in college my mother gave me her Nokia 6680, my first 3G phone. I really don't want to change this phone but sadly it was snatched. I needed a phone that time because I'm looking for a job so I buy a cheap phone, Nokia 1110. When I got my first Christmas bonus I bought Nokia 5320 Xpress Music as a gift for myself. But this was again snatched and then after a year I finally bought my current phone, Nokia 5530, my first touch phone. As you might notice all my phones are from Nokia. I don't know why but I really don't want to buy other phones from other companies. But I think this might change since most of the best touch phones are from other brands like the Apple IPod and the Android phones. I still have no plans on buying new phone in the near future. But for now I really want to have either a Nexus One or an HTC desire.

I have changed my cell phone for about 9 times and counting. Just like you, I change my phone to go with the present technology and the advantages & functionality of new phones. I have always drooled over the latest cell phone brand. But I'm glad I'm over that stage wherein I just won't stop asking my parents to buy me that particular phone out the market. The first cell phone that I had was a Nokia 5110. It was the most common and most popular that time. Ever since then I switched phones from Nokia to Sony Ericsson and vice versa. Have a nice day to you too.

I've changed my phone three times up to now. I'm not really crazy about all those new technologies like GPRS and 3G since I own a digital camera and have access to computer conveniently. So it's not necessary for me that my phone should be equipped with those advanced technologies. The main reason that I changed my phone was that there's something wrong with it. It might be the battery or something else. The money used to buy unnecessary phones can be used to purchase something really necessary, especially during the time of economic depression.

Frankly speaking, after I encountered a sudden heart attack in Feb. 2008, I no longer used cellular phone in my daily life for communication tools, either for my private or business life. I fully utilized Skype as an option including its webinar service.

I think I changed for like 6-7 times. My first cellphone is a Nokia 5110i. I then changed it to another Nokia phone that was snatched from my hand by a bad human being. My parents got me one for being a good girl. Before I enter college, I got a hand me down. By college, I got another hand me down, my very first Sony Ericsson. I then have 2 phones in college. Before I finished college, I got another hand me down, a brand new however, just bought for months, another SE. I let go of my other phone, I then have 2 SE. By the time I started working, I still have the 2, but the other one gave up, it is still working though, but has many defects. I now have 2 phones again. The "brand new" hand me down SE I got in college and a hand me down Nokia 6680. That makes, 7? Am I right? I still don't have a phone with internet however, nor a touch screen phone. I'll wait for the next hand me down phone. I really don't like buying one. When I probably get a work, I'll but a new one, but for business use. Or just stick with my 2 phones.

I have had at least 10 cell phones in the past. I can't remember what the first one was, but I know that it was really rubbish! At the moment, I have the Blackberry 9700, which is by far the best phone I have ever had. I don't normally get the best phone out at the time, and the 9700 actually was the best phone when I bought it! It's a good job that I love it, because I am stuck in a 24 month contract, so with a bit of luck, it will last me for the next two years.

This is my fourth mobile I am using now. I don't change my cell with advances in technology but have changed it by default. I lost my first mobile in bus, second and third almost taken away by my siblings.

Hi, SHAMRACK. I have only changed my cell phone twice. The second time that I changed it is, when I bought a flip phone. I would like another phone where I can access the Internet from. But that is all though.

I have not changed my cell phone in over three years. I admit that it is out of date, but it is reliable and I've never had a problem with it.

Hi SHAMRACK How are you doing today. I had changed four times my cell phone, just like you, haha. My first cell phone's function is too simple. No camera, no GPS, no website. It's real phone, only phone and SMS. And right now, I bought iphone. I think iphone is pretty good. Actually, it is like small computer more. except typing. I really wanna say, typing on iphone is really terrible. Because of the keyboard it's too small? But, anyway, you probably can use iphone fo anything.

My very first phone in the late '90's was a basic model, and I traded it in against a model with a colour screen when the battery began to deteriorate..That phone,a Nokia, was still functional this Year, and I loaned it to my Brother with a new SIM card as He was visiting with his family and didn't have a UK phone..I lost another one, bought a used one from Ebay that turned out to be irreparably damaged though they sold it still under warranty, then my first camera phone after about 2 Years of use was having battery issues, and I now have a new one..

I have lost count as I have had lots of cell phones since 2003 when I got my first one. I was first with t-moblie and I had a lot of different phones with them, and now I am with Verizon, and I think this phone is my 4th one from them. I usually change phones once a year, but if my phone goes bad or doesn't work properly, then I will change phones before my contract is up. I don't like keeping my phone for 2 years, it seems like every time I buy a phone, a better one comes out, which is poor timing if you ask me. Anyway, the phone I have now, I really like,so I will probably keep it much longer than I have in the past. As far as my very first phone is concerned, I didn't have it all that long, as it was defective, so I had to replace it with a better phone. Take care, and have a very good day.

I think I have change my phone 4 times already. 3 times that I have lost and the other one was old enough that it malfunction already. My latest phone is a Samsung and I really love it. I learned a lot from my previous phone lost. I will never ever allow it again since having no phone is so problematic. Its really difficult to communicate.

hi shamrack, here i have chenged about five time my mobile , i dont think, its because of disposible income with me. due to fast change in technological aspect of goods may lead all to go ahead. At first i used nokia 3200 ,subsequenty i drived many mobiles and at last now hanging on nokia 5800 xpress music. The majar difference is technical specifications. the mobile what i had first didn't contain wi-fi and 3G facility but now i am enjoying those facities. thats what i said early its been a technological issue.

Listen this is great, I changed cell phone so many times. Sprint, T-Mobile, Metro pcs. Although my first one is probably a sprite bottle. I am looking forward to having that unbreakable phone.
