fasting in the month of ramadhan

fasting in the month of ramadhan is one of the 5 pillars of islam.
while fasting in islam is generally meant to teach us patience, modesty and spirituality.

There are so many things present with this great act of fasting... Allah telling that fasting is for me... all the prayers for Allah only...but here Allah telling the reason why he told like that .,because only the faster and the Allah knows about the fasting ... this is one of the important pillar of Islam that the other religious believers are looking positively....

I wish all the Islamic people a happy fasting. My friend that lives in my home country was born in Bangladesh. She follows the Islamic religion. She always fasts during that special month. I am very keen on traveling and I have been to some Islamic countries. I like to see mosques and think they are often very beautiful looking buildings. I saw a tiny mosque in the Maldives. Being a traveler I think it isn't wise to visit an Islamic country during that special month of fasting. I wouldn't want to eat in front of the local people knowing they are fasting.

Hi kibagus, you are correct the religion Islam have five impotent pillars.If anyone believe in Islam must follow this five pillars ,30 days ramadhan is one of 5 pillars of Islam.Ramadhan is a good time to do relief works like help poor people,help patients.I think after this 30 days ramadhan followers of Islam will get good physical and mental health.I wish you a happy Ramadhan.I request you to please pray for me and my family.
