..hi fellas.. I'm a Filipino and I have friends in Hongkong.. this morning, my friend sent me a message that many Filipinos have been drove out by their employers even in the middle of the night and those Filipinos have nowhere to go.. I think Hongkong is being unfair because they are making the fault of one as fault of all Filipinos.. I just wish Hongkong will give fair justice to their Filipino employees because they were not part of those who've hurt their fellow citizens.. It just makes me so sad that Filipinos are again being hated because of someone's fault.. How would you react on this?

hello..You're right. Many of our Families and friends in Hongkong suffered because of what had happended during the "Hostage Crisis" which was held in Quirino Grandstand in Manila. I really felt sorry for our fellowmen out there. In my own opinion, 'majority' of the Hongkong citizens are being so unfair because they've generalized that FILIPINOS (meaning, all) are like this and like that, not thinking that only one (Filipino) did that thing.
I hope and pray that their (Chinese/Hongkong citizens) perception on us, Filipinos, will turn into a positive one. Majority of Filipinos, I know & I believed, are being so good especially in being so hospitable on tourists. I'm not bragging. I'm just telling what & who we really are..
To our fellowmen not only in Hongkong, but those who are in different locations/nations right now, please be very careful, be good, do good and just do your best!!! GO! GO! GO! ^_^

What the ?... i don't mean to be rude but why those ignorant people had to that to innocent ones?
No one wants that to happen,it just happens and it's done, but no any workers in Hongkong ever wanted it to happen.
Oh my,i feel so sad upon hearing this, aren't those employees are human enough than what the hostage taker did?
What a sad thing that happen to our innocent countrymen

That is really unfair! I think those chinese in HongKong are just being very exaggerated! Are they narrow-minded, bigoted persons?
I know I can feel their sentiments but they already blaming other Filipinos out there...

Totally unfair for other Filipinos. Nobody wanted that incident to happen in the first place. The Chinese nationals who have been doing business here in the Philippines are treated fair and square. There have been many instances that people would judge them as one of those people who don't have much respect to others, this proves that now. Admittedly and obviously, the rescue operation made by the PNP was a disaster. They made it known not just to our country but to the whole world as well. But for Chinese people to react overly also in this situation, making the issue as big as the whole world, they just show how BIRD BRAIN their people are.

One madman can do much damage! Didn't World War One start with one assassination? I also think that the Filipino government and the police botched up the negotiating situation and the Filipino people didn't take responsibly for the sad consequences. I have argued with several Filipinos here on Mylot with the way the hostage situation and the aftermath was handled.

I am sorry to heard that news but are you sure it is TRUE ? I am here just heard the news is one canard ,maybe it really happen but i think it is not widely ,you know government don't want it happen . I am a Chinese , maybe i can tell you the details about we sentiment .i think Philippine governments and the police need take the most responsibility about this event : you know after the hostage killed , police take group photo on site with event as background and make confuse body so that family members cry for another , you know it is appears they were not respect to the deads and don't attach important to this event, especially the president with smile on his face .
I don't agree with drive out Filipinos , because it is not their fault . i hope the each government will deal well with the event as soon as possible and china and Philippines are still friend too.
I hate war and argue ,because the suffers are always general people .
