Food and rain

What food do you like to eat when it's raining?
Who would say soup? =) If you do, then we're the same. I love to eat soup when it's raining. A hearty, spicy, piping hot soup. Pho Bo, Jampong, Tom Yum, Sinigang, Minestrone, even instant noodles. It doesn't matter. They're all good on a rainy evening. The rain sometimes makes me sad or depressed. Maybe because it's gloomy. But I find that soup makes me all warm and cheerful. Maybe because when we were growing up, my mom would always make soup when it's raining. Probably has become a comfort food for me.
How about you? Is there a specific type of food you'd love to eat especially when it's raining?

Thats awesome indahfth, my son would agree withyou on the spicy and hot.
however my tummy would not take to the spice. So I have to think of tomato or chicken soup or chicken and dumplings.

most of the time we will to have soup. like sopas but lugaw or congee is one of our favorite. then drink coffee

I love homemade soup anytime but a rainy day it's really good. I made soup today. Alot of people don't like soup in the summer months but i like it anytime.

i erally love eating when its raining... me and my kids do it.. eheheh
We usually like noodles... then we have a bread with it... then we also want junk foods then we watch our favorite movies... :) id also love to h ave a cup of coffee with my husband... then we listen ot norah jones songs... hah! life is ooo sweet!!

Yes when the weather turns cooler and or a grey day and no sun I notice I might think of soup preferably tomato or make a bowl of chicken and dumplings.
That is my very favorite food during fall and winter.
I also find that when its cooler I turn to more fruit type desserts too such as Apple Crisp, Fruit Magic that even after they cool down you just want to warm them up when you eat them because they taste even better in the cooler weather.

Soup is better eaten when the weather is cold like when it's raining heavily.., But I love to eat when it's raining.., any kind of food will do.., But I don't know.., I tend to eat heavier meals when the weather is cold.., =0=
