Then search for the model of the motherboard if the network card is embedded on it, you can use this program called PC Wizard to know all hardware installed on your PC and of course the motherboard model, and even the network card itself, then you can search for the driver:

Good luck.

Find your motherboard model number and try to search for it's drivers on the internet? My friends have had similar problems after formatting the computer but they were able to find the drivers on the internet, you need the model number and search for it on the net. Hope you find them, and download on some other computer and feed it to your computer.

First of all is your network adapter built-in to the mother board (it is when the lan card socket is near the audio or video socket). If it is a built in then you can definitely find the driver in your motherboard's cd drivers. Try to find out the brand and product number of your mother board and go to the official website of the mother board. You can download the driver for your lan card there. Remember to select WinXP as the OS.
If you have a separate PCI lan card, then you must download the driver from the official website of the brand of your lan card. Also remember to download the XP version.
