Do you get enough sleep?

Did you know that not getting enough sleep can actually result in severe health issues? You should aim to get between 8 and 9 hours sleep per night, do you get this? Personally, I get enough sleep during holiday times away from college, however when I am at college I will usually only get 7.5 hours per night, as I am far too busy to actually get all that much sleep.

Hi GemmaR, I know taking enough sleep is quite beneficial to our health though I still very much indulge in searching net and watching online video as well as chatting online with friends frequently during my leisure. I always too engross in these until I have missed the bedtime. I almost go to bed in wee hours therefore I lack of sleep often. I felt into sick finally for insufficient sleep made my immune system weak and lost its normal resistance against disease. I took more than a week to recover from severe sickness this time. Since then I discipline myself strictly and never ever stay up late anymore. I find I'm energetic after having enough sleep Have a nice day

The natural rules of being healthy are 1) Eat healthy 2) Exercise and 3) Get enough sleep. Properly practice all of the above and ward off all sorts of crazy health issues. I'd like to get more sleep, but stress at college has turned me into an insomniac. When I'm actually trying to sleep, I'm unable to. Right now I'm back on a prescription sleep aid that I've been trying to get off for a few months. I have good nights of sleep and I have bad nights of no sleep.

Hi, I always tend to have a sleep at least for 8 hours per night. It is more than enough for my body to re-charge and I will stay fresh on the next day. Only on saturday night, then I will sleep slightly late as Sunday is my family day, both my son and my husband has no activities to attend to. Normally, I will sleep around 10pm everynight and wakeup at 6am in the morning,Once while I will overslept till 6.30am. Only when I am sick, then I will need to sleep more to have full rest for my body. Or else, sleep too much will make me feel even more tired and get headache too.

I am very thankful, I am now getting enough sleep, unlike before, when I was a MyLot addict I only sleep three hours per night. I have curbed my addiction to MyLot. I have switched to "posting a lot" to "referring a lot of people to MyLot". I am now able to sleep eight hours a day/night.

Most of the time no i do not get enough sleep, on average i get around 5 hours daily.Rarely do i get to sleep 8 hours or more , when i do get the chance i enjoy it and it is really refreshing for me.So many people today are working long hours with one job or are working 2 jobs just to get by.This can be bad for peoples health if done for a long period of time and and shorten their lifespan.

Luckily I do get enough sleep. I'm also the type that can fall asleep pretty quickly and go back to bed just about any time of the day. I would say I get about 7-10 hours of sleep a night. However, because of how early I can start at work, I seem to get as little as 6.5 at least two days a week. Most people my age get anywhere from 4-6 normally, but I can't do it. I get tired naturally around 9 or so, again not normal for someone who is a young adult. But the more I read about sleep benefits, the more I want to get all the sleep I can. Nothing like escaping and sleeping or taking a good nap when possible. :)
