The phone rings and you pick it up. You don't even notice that the name shown as to who is calling is unfamilar to you. Hello. Who do you say is calling? Bob?
Bob who. Bob Young. Pardon me, Bob Young who? "Don't you remember 52 years ago
I sat next to you on the school bus." NOW IF YOU'RE LUCKY you start to remember, but if you are me, you still don't have a clue. What next? Well I wanted to keep the conversation going so that maybe I could place him. We chat and chat and I now know what he has done with his life and what all his children have done with theirs.
YOU GET TO GUESS, do I know who this dude is? Would you?

Heck, there are even people that request that I add them as a friend on facebook and I won't do it because I don't have any clue at all whatsoever of who the people are. Then I will get messages from people saying, oh we were in drama togeter in the 98 school year or something like that and I really don't know who they are still.
Or, and this is the best example, I went shopping at Wal-Mart and a girl yells out to me, I knew she looked familiar but I really though she was my ex boy-friend's older sister. It turned out that it was someone that I graduated from high school with but never really knew, but she sure did remember me. We are friends on facebook now.

Hi savypat, The only reason I might know is because I grew up in a small community and I attended a two room school. So as you can see there's little chance that I wouldn't remember. I don't think you would remember if you attended a large school. Blessings.

This is a story about my Hubby who of course is the caller. And yes he did attend a small school like that. But the friends he calls are from his high school days and that was a much larger school. Most of his calls last a long time and they have a great time getting reaquinted.

Oh you're very naughty making up stories like that hahaha.
Well I'll play along. I never pick up when I dont know the number. What I do is go to 411 on my pc and then I can find out WHO this number belongs to. If I dont know the name, I delete the number and forget about it.
I had a guy who used to come to school with me add me to his Facebook but thats all that happened, he didnt say anything or write me an email......he's just part of my friends list. I dont see posts from him either.
I have a few "friends" like this on my Facebook we used to go to school together but we dont email or anything so I have no idea what they're up to now.......and to be honest, I dont really care lol.

I would just keep talking to him because even if I didn't really know him, he called me for a reason. Sometimes people need to reminisce and talk to someone. As long as the conversation kept going I would be fine talking to him.
