where i come from, my local meditation school offers a class in human to animal telepathic communication. however i've never taken any of their classes.
telepathic communication between humans and pets, is it possible?
have any of you ever had a telepathic communication experience with your dog? if so i would like to hear of your experiences. i am trying to decide if i should take the class or not?

Well, I think you should take the course regardless, as any type of education is good for you. And you never know when it's going to work for you either.
I am not aware of any type of telepathic communication that I've had with any of my pets, BUT, I wasn't looking for any either, so I can't say a definite no. I do know when I didn't feel good, my cat would come and lay next to me and stare and sort of cuddle, as if she knew something was wrong.
I've also heard, and possibly you have too, of where animals have ran off to get help for their owners when they've hurt themselves. That has to be some sort of telepathic communication.
Have you ever heard of a Horse Whisperer? They are around and they are real people, which I'm sure have some sort of communication and feeling for what the horses feelings are. The horse communicates to them in ways that you or I wouldn't even notice. And there are other people who do this with all different types of animals.
I do think it's possible and I think you should take the course. Who knows, it might benefit you in other ways too....just my opinion.

It's ok to be rational and skeptical both at the same time.
I'm sure many inventors thought the same way but ended up following through on their beliefs. If you think sometimes that you know what your dog is thinking or feeling, it's not necessarily your imagination. This is how telepathy works.

hi kashmeresmycat,
do you have any suggestions as to tests i could use to see if i am really sensing what my dog is thinking? i am thinking that if i could sense what he is thinking i might be able to communicate back to him. isn't that crazy?
i wouldn't dare ask any of my family or friends about this issue. they might commit me to an asylum. lol.

I think that class it's a good posibility to learn something new. If I were you, I'd subscribe right away.
I had telepatic communication experiences with my previous dog, Nera. She was a very gentle dog, and we had some special relationship. We used to walk on street without a leash, she didn't go far away from me. She just walked calmly, no further than 2 meters from me.
When she was 11, I noticed that, if I called her in my mind when we were on street, she would stopped and looked at me with that look "why did you called me?". This didn't happen just once, and everybody who saw us couldn't beleive their eyes.
I don't know if this type of communication can be classified as "telepatic". What do you think?

You know, Kristin, I had never thought about telepatic communications between humans and dogs before I noticed our ability to communicate. It just hapened. The first time it hapened, we were walking on street. I was walking behind Nera and I was thinking about how I had to ask her to stop at the traffic lights. I thought I would call her name and she was going to stop and look at me. But I noticed that she had stopped and looked at me before I used any word. This was our first experience.
Then I was a little afraid to try it again. I don't know, I think I was afraid of a failure. But no, when I repeted the experience, she did stopped again. And again. And again...
I used to call her name in my mind, and she 'heared' me somehow. I don't know how our minds communicated. Maybe this hapened due to our special relationship. We were very closed to each other indeed.

hi inu1711,
i think that might be classified as telepathic! did she look at you everytime you called her in your mind?
how did you call her in your mind? did you uses words or pictures? how does what you think in your mind go straight to nera's mind? is there a special technique that you use? thanks ahead of time for your answer.

hi inu1711,
i get it. you just do it and observe what happens. you don't worry about technique-how you do it. i think i will try communicating with my dog and see what happens. i haven't thought of how to do it yet. i'll post the results again so you can see them.
indeed you had a very special relationship with nera.

hi ajithlalkk,
i think telepathy is possible amongst humans but because animals do not speak a human language using words, i don't know if it is possible to communicate with them telepathically.
however sometimes when i am petting my dog i get the feeling that i know what he is thinking. then my rational mind tells me that i am imagining it.

Any form of communication is indeed possible. Humans communicate with other humans. Hearing and sight impaired people communicate with the world just as if they had no disabilities. Animals communicate with other animals. i have heard of dolphins being able to communicate with humans. Humans communicate telepathicly. Why couldn't we do this same with animals. Anything is possible.

hi sender621,
i guess i doubted that this was possible because animals do not speak in a verbal language like we do so they do not think verbal thoughts. so i always doubted that i was "hearing" my dog's thoughts.
