Is more expensive always better?

I love my make-up to pieces and I only use drugstore brands. Obviously I can't compare them to the more expensive brands like MAC or Sephora, so I want to know; is the more expensive make-up always better, or do you prefer drugstore just as much as you adore your MAC or other high-end make-up products?

Some of it, but not all. Like, Maybelline's Great Lash mascara is great, and when it comes to nail polish for instance, I don't care at all what I get, but with important stuff like foundation, I feel MAC is better to be honest. So it all depends on what product it is!

Expensive does not mesan better, there are many generic products that are just as good as the expensive brands. They don't cost as much and are just as good in quality.
