Yesterday, I went to a restaurant to have my dinner. It was quite many people in the restaurant and there are a group of student or young guys, they are talking and laughing like nobody. The whole restaurant was like occupied by their voices. They talk really loud and that really affects the peoples in the restaurant. The waitress try to talk to them and they seem like no respond and one of them even said very loudly that "this is a public place, why do you bother? I can talk what I like.". Do you ever meet with this type of people? Do you talk very loudly in the public?

I especially find it irritating when a person is on their cell phone in public and speaks so loud the whole place can hear them. Yet even more irritating is that the person does not realizes it and carries on.

Yeah seriously I do not believe they know they are doing this as if they knew they would be embarrassed so normally I shrug it off and move to another area.

Yes, I guess so, I think they are lack of attention and trying to get public attention. One thing that I do not understand is that why they do not feel shame when they talk so loud in the public.

I have a relative who, unfortunately, has a tendency to almost yell when conversing with those right next to him. He does not notice it, but it's very embarrassing for us, his family members, especially when he's speaking about a medical condition with a nurse in the doctor's office.

Yes, many people are like that and they did not realize that they are actually yelling instead of talking. This might have related to their living environment where it is a noisy area where they always have to shout so that people next to them can hear. This is common also for those peoples who have hearing impair.

If the place was too noisy, then yes, I will talk loudly. But if it's not I won't, since I don't like it when people overhearing my conversation.

I get annoyed with those kind of people who talks like they are the only one on that place and they never cares.. It's such a nuisance.! I talk in a moderate volume and i raise my voice only when necessary especially when there are people around who are also having their own conversations.., It's a way of showing respect.., and if you are respectful.. you get respected too..=) right?

yspmyl no I think its rude and inconsiderate of the other people in a public place. to me this would be most embarrassing to being too loud and have the waitress tell you to tone it down. I do not do such things. I go to a restaurant to have good food, relax and to enjoy myself in peaceful surroundings and I speak softly and with respect to other diners.

Hi Hatley, Yes, I agreed with you. Those people who talk very loud in a public place are probably are uneducated, no manners and also very inconsiderate. They seem like there are no one else in this world except them. I really do no like this kind of people and if they are my friend, I will definitely ask them to shut up...:)

My husband think I have a loud voice but I dont think I have. I think he is just thinking that I am having a loud voice cause I am talking very close to him especially when we are in public. I dont like people who talks loudly in public. They are attention seekers. I hate those things and I would never do something like that.
