Hiya iwrite,
I usually look for information about the Place itself first to see what it has there. What sort of things you can expect to find there.
Lastly a nice decent place to stay and what the food is like.
The weather does not bother me much as long as it´s not snowing.

Hiya iwrite,
Well that is what I would look for mainly in a travel site and also look for other features, photographs of what the place could actually look like now.
Stories about the Place and other People that have been there and so on.
In fact there is so much it could be never ending. You could end up having a website with loads of pages.

Although all the above suggestions are great and what we all look for while trying to book our next destination.
I have to say that ease of tools on the site is very important to me. Filters such as date of traveling, number of people, search by low and highs and of course ever popular quick cheapest deals.
Good luck friend I will anxiously await for your great site.

Scenic pictures to draw people in might be nice. For me, I go to a travel site to see pics of a certain area. And, I want to see what tours are available in a given area. Accomodations, eateries, activities. And ofcourse price. Are there coupons available for discount off if you get several things in one. People are always wanting to save money. Oh,. and maybe if there are scenic points of interest and if they have special group rates and children rates.

Travel route, various hotels to stay with their telephone numbers, tariffs, and the rate of tips to staff, if any. Essentials to be carried in various seasons, and what is not available at such places. Then again cost of transport locally and all around to different places, as well as things that are available at very reasonable prices, some indigenous stuff that can be brought back home and given as gifts, and history of different places at each site, or specialty. Cost of a guided tour as well, and if possible a facility to book all this online. :)

Personally, I would want a travel website to be informative. Like a place to go to with beautiful scenery or where the culture of the place started, where to go if you want to have a quiet time, or even places where you could party all night. It would also be best to put in a website some recommended place to eat and what the travelers could do when they get there. It would also be nice if prices ranges are available so that those who want to travel could have their pockets ready.

The first thing I like to see it lots of pictures! It's important to have pictures of every single type of room you would be offering, including pictures of the bathroom, the views from the windows and the communal rooms ie dining areas and hallways.
Prices are important too. Don't keep them hidden. Perhaps put your drinks prices on the website as well, because people like to know about these things before they get there.
I need to know what's near the hotel, what's on offer, what time breakfast/lunch/dinner is served etc, and what I had to pay for (ie is it all inclusive, part inclusive, or no food/drinks included at all).

I like to see area attractions and even a little map of the area would be nice. I would also like to see the average costs of dining and attractions as well. Most sites don't have that info. It would be nice to see what type of packages are available too. Best times to visit would be nice as well. Good luck with your site.

Hi iwrite,
I really don't use travel sites, except the airlines. When I travel I plan my own itinerary, if I am going anywhere in North America. However, when we went to Europe, we did use a travel agent who planned our entire itinerary.
We looked for an agency, in person or online, that was knowledgable about the areas that we wanted to visit, they had to know about the hotels and their proximity to the major attractions, we also looked for the site and the agency to list things to do once we reached our destination. More over, we looked for hints on how to remain safe in a foreign country and how to enjoy our trip and return home safely.
Good luck on your new venture.

Well, unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to travel on a regular basis, but there are a lot of things that I would like to know when I do have the opportunity to get away from home.
I love seeing reviews of hotels so that I will know the best places to stay. In addition to that, I would love to see the attractions in different areas catagorized in different ways. For example if I wanted to travel to Boston, I would love to know that attractions, restaurants, etc. that would be good to visit with children. If I was a single person I would like to know the places that would be good to visit alone. That kind of thing.

I like to see what is the best flight price and in which days, there are also important the photos and the location of the hotel. You should try to put one of those best flight price searchers, i've seen some websites with them showing great prices!

I usually look for a nice place to visit like Museums, amusement parks, shopping center and restaurants. The first thing I check if there is a hotel near to amusement parks, museums and other nice places on that country. And anything unique on that country is great if you include it on your website. I also need to find out if there is a police station available anywhere near the hotel or the amusement parks so I have something to depend on in case of emergency.

I am not too sure what is normally on a travel website but I know if I’m planning to travel I look for the easiest way to find the best possible deal. I would like a website which lists all the possible fairs and deals from most expensive to cheapest and links to the airline for bookings. It would be nice to have a feature on a certain destination say once a month or so and a list of all the tourist attractions etc. A fast loading and easy to navigate site is a must! Good luck with it!

Hi iwrite
How are you doing today
I like travel, and ofcourse I like to get specific information from leaflet or a travel site. I think the most important thing is food. So I like to get more information about food, and hotel, safety, famous scenic spot. That's it.
And of course, the cost.

What I will look in a travel website will be some information on the place that I going to visit like what are the nice place to go. What should I try or eat at the place. How much is the price for the food, accommodation and also the transportation. What is their culture. What can do and what cannot do at that place. Where to find nice food, cheap place to stay for those who like to go like free and easy. I think there are many things that I will like to know if I were to go to some places. And I think those information I will like to see and know.
