Does Maria Clara still exist among Filipinas?

Based on Philippine Culture, Filipinas are so conservative. If we go back to the time 50 years ago, when you hold a womans hand, you will end up marrying her as a result. That is how conservative Filipinos are that even a single touch like that is a very big deal.
in comparison to our time, we are in a generation which is aware of liberty.
Filipinas are now liberated.
If you were asked, do you believe they still exist nowadays?

for me they exist no more...Filipinas nowadays already adopt the culture of other countries.

Hello danzy,
I believed only a handful of them exist now a days. the rest are "can do what ever i want" syndrome now, or should we say liberated. but i don't think they will cease to exist if the men weren't so abusive and insensitive.and besides we were more influenced by the west that more women now are aggressive most specially in business.
