ToneADay scammed me!!!!!!

Hey people! Seriously... you thought that ToneaDay is real??? OK! Now, tell me, what kinda business opportunity is to rate words what feeling you get reading them? What's the money earning potential in it? How could someone be so rich to run a site like this??? Seriously... Don't let yourself get fooled by these kind of sites! They all suckkk!!! Hmm. I just got paid on the same day I requested payment. By the way, do you have verified PayPal accounts? It's a requirement for requesting payment.

even I am waiting for my work approval since last 3 weeks..I even made a contact to them regarding my issue but I didn't got any appropriate answer from them.I made a post on there feedback naming "toneaday is smart scam" and all who got paid from them are protecting them over there .you can visit there feedback section and give your contribution regrading this issue.

Some say patience is the key. Your been told to wait for one week so just wait. If your account get verified and still not been paid then that is when the problem arises. But right now I think its better if you just wait and don't scare yourself. Beside you don't invest in here right? Just your time.

Well I have a different story altogether at toneaday. I have been paid. Yes, there was a wait a long one but they paid me. One more thing, they have been upgrading their website (since last week) and maybe this is one of the reasons that the delay is longer than expected. I would suggest you better ask the customer support about it. Another reason might be your rating 100 words in the first hour itself which is quite fast. Maybe this is another reason.

I have been paid $1.8 and $27 by the site. They do take a while to verify your payment now that they have like 1000s of members and people trying to abuse the site.

too bad. I am sorry to hear that sasuke. ToneADay seems too good to be true, but anyway let's take your experience as a lesson. Thank you for sharing, and I hope you can get a good luck with another online earnings. Try also to contact the costumer service of toneaday, maybe there are some technical problem so that they could not send you the payment.

I'm sorry you're still waiting for payment. I can imagine the frustration of not having received a response. I haven't experienced a delay myself (I got my first payment almost instantly), but it might very well happen for subsequent payments. Have you tried contacting them on their Get Satisfaction page and/or Facebook page? I also read somewhere that if it takes you less than 5 seconds to rate an emotion, it's deemed to be too fast. How long, on average, do you think it took you?

I am sorry to hear this has happened to you...This may be a silly question but have you tried contacting the admin in regards to this? I am not a regular user of toneaday but I did my first 100 then forgot about the site for about 2 or 3 weeks then when I logged back in, it took me straight to the request payout page so I requested my payout & within 5 mins, they had paid me - I have the payout proof in my blog which is on my profile. Good luck in trying to contact them in regards to your matter.

well i have been paid many times by toneaday. the first few times i was paid within 24 hrs and the rest of the time it took 2 to 5 days. also i think i read something about this in one of the comments left under your discussion, but they will not approve your work if your paypal account is not verified. so if it's not then that could very well be the problem. i'm not going to be like others and say that you are a cheater or anything because that don't necessary have to be the case. i'm sure the ones who have said you are a cheater would say the same thing about toneaday ( saying its a scam ) if they did work up there and didn't get paid when others are constantly saying they are getting paid. i know that must be frustrating. i can't really tell you what the problem is, i do know that they are kind of backed up because they didn't expect so many people to join as fast as they did. also you can email them at toneday dot com or leave a message in the feedback section asking them to look at your account, also you can make your post private so that only the people who owns toneaday will be able to read your message. that way you won't have to deal with a lot of people telling you you're a cheater and all of that other negative stuff. even if they do look at your account they still will not pay if your paypal account is not verified, it's stated in their terms of service. well i hope my information helps in some way and i wish you good luck with toneday.

Well, after rating 100 words I waited. After 3 or 4 days, I got an email saying I was verified n I have passes the qualification test. Then 2 days later, I got paid $1.80($0.20 for charity). And then I rated till I earn $30. And this time agin. it too 3 to 4 days for me to receive an email saying all my ratings have been verified. Hoping to c $27 in my paypal acc. But after reading all the responses in here, I and a bit worried now if I will be paid.. Who knows, they might have turned out to b a scam or may be they r legit. If I got got paid. I'll post a discussion in here.

Calling everything scam is cheap. Toneaday already warned on their site that things might take quite long. You're not scammed and online you must watch out what you said as this can be interpreted as blackmailing thus rendering you punishable. Even more so when the ACTA laws are enforced.

I tried Toneaday but i was going to wait and see if anyone got paid before i invested alot of time there. Scams are to block off the net. That just is not right.

Hi Sasuke, I am only one month with toneaday but got my paid 5x already. However, for the past three days i could not rate any phrase because they are still working on it. I was able to reach the daily quota since they started the change. i am positive that this is not a scam and that they are just working on some technicalities. i too waited for weeks but then gets paid.

Just wanted to share I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for my $65.00 payout and Yipee today I received my payment. I too was leary so I slowed down not doing it all until I get paid so today I was shocked my payment was sent to my PayPal so not a scam my friend actually true. Whooo!

I'm waiting for more than a week too.Yes...that means that it must be scam.Too bad, would've been nice, 2c/word.
