I can't. I always find myself listening to music when I'm awake. I can go a day without watching tv but not listening to music. At work, during breaks I will play my mp3 player and I find myself relaxing. I love listening to upbeat music. I'm into Pop music actually. Right now my favorite song is King of Anything by Sara Barieles. What about you?

Even if you tried not to listen to music, you would still hear it from tv or internet, a phone call. There are always ways.

While I do not have to bring my earphones with me when commuting, I do need some dose of music when I'm doing stressful work that takes long to be done. Like I did the other day, it's not only for acoustic reward that I listen to songs but also to keep myself awake at night because the louder it gets the more awake I become. If need be I could sacrifice and not listen but then as the spring has gone tighter it has been hard to resist.

I don't actually listen to music all that much. When I'm chatting online, I'll usually be watching something on television at the same time, so it's not as though I'm ever in absolute silence.
The only time that I ever listen to music is when I am on a bus or on a train, when there's nothing else to do. Even then, I will only listen to music if I know that I will be on the journey for longer than about half an hour, as I can put up with just looking out of the window for anything less than that.

Quite easily. At work (nights) there is a radio on, but most of the music passes me by, and I pick up the news. At home we do not even have a radio (it is available via satellite on TV). Occasionally I might play some music using the DVD attached to my TV, or PC.

I can't go a day without listening to a song, I just like music too much and I'd get really bored if I didn't have something to listen to.
