Advice about aging parents

Does anyone know a good website concerning caring for parents who do not quite need help yet but are very close? My mother can still cook but can't hold a coherent conversation usually. My dad is fine but talking about not wanting to drive anymore, having trouble thinking and remembering things. They're happy for me to help them - I just need some general advice on not going overboard. I can't do EVERYTHING for them and make them feel old and useless. But I want to be able to sense when things are just too much for them or when they just plain don't want to do something because they feel overwhelmed at the time. So far all I've found are sites for nursing homes. My brothers, sister, and I are trying to avoid that if possible. It's not necessary yet anyway. Right now, I live with them so they can stay in their own home.
