Well.. speaking of shining vampires, it only leads to one thing, twilight saga books.
I find this quote very funny but for twilight fans and readers, it is very distracting.
For the people out there, what is your opinion hearing this quote...?

according to fictions vampires are sensitive to daylight. this thing was inherited from Vlad III Dracula were he had an unknown disease which forbids him to expose in sunlight.
but there was an exception, the fictional thing called "Daywalker" which also known to be Blade of Marvel comics.
Combining these two fictional facts... is not really to be reason why twilight books known vampires as shiny things.
Speaking of shiny things, I remember Pokemon

Before the Twilight Saga books, we where raised to believe that vampires die when the sun shines on them. But books were made to twist reality, to create something new, so even though others may find shining and shimmering vampires out of the ordinary, we can't do anything about it. The author thought about it and felt that it was a perfect and essential part of her story. Let's just respect that.

I've been interested in vampires ever since. My most favorite kind of vampires would be the ones Anne Rice wrote about because I think they would be the perfect examples of what a vampire should be if ever there is one. So when I first read Twilight and its shining, sparkling vampires I laughed because it pretty much go against most of the things I've read about vampires and the sun. I like vampires because they're wicked and cool which sparkling Twilight vampires did not clearly portrayed. Good thing I like Alice in the books or else I will totally hate Stephanie Meyer for making up those kinds of vampires.
