I have been into freelance writing for the past 3 years and I have come across a lot many websites. I can't join all of them because keeping pace becomes difficult. In general people do shortlist their choices and stick to only their favorite and tried-and-tested websites.
What is your list of such websites? My favorites are- Suite101, Bukisa, Squidoo, Infobarrel, breakstudios, demandstudios.

Freelance writing is my hobby too, and I have joined some of those sites you have mentioned. Yes, they are very enjoyable. One other site which has become my favorite is "Review Stream". There, one can write brief revies on a variety of topics, movies, shopping, travel, hotels, restaurants, and so on, and get paid. I have writing reviews there, and have been paid a number of times.

My favorite one is Shvoong. At first, you have to work really hard to write about 800 articles, but once you done it, you will get stable income. Moreover, it is not so strict with grammar rules, and the minimum words for one article is only about 75 words. I highly recommend Shvoong if you want to get good monthly income with your writing skills.

If you don't mind telling us... could you tell us more or less how much one can expect to make with Shvoong if one has 800 articles up? I am just curious!

My favorite website I like to write for is Helium, although I get paid the most by Review Stream I like Helium more because my articles will always earn money where my main income from Review Stream is upfront payments.

I wrote for Helium sometime back. If only I had some spare time...I would have definitely went back to it.
