Somebody told me that your blood type can determine your personality, or character. I don't know whether to believe it or not. Without any proof, or scientific approval, I just say agnostic. But this theory is widely accepted in Japanese society, and they have actual description on each blood type. I guess some of it might be true, nonetheless, our blood types are determined by our parents allele, or gene. So, we might more or less inherited our parents characteristics too. check it out:

my decision is i am inherited by my parents. That is some times i behave like my father, he is so abruptly become angry in some times, i also have same behaviour. And some times i think like my mother...
When we come to blood groups, it is not believable.

hi, i already read one of the articles your talking about, but i dont really believe them, its more likely that more people have those following traits with the corresponding blood type than others, for me its just a fun interesting read, there's even some articles that point out what type of diet/food one needs to eat more or less depending on his or her blood type, i cant seem to find that article anymore though.

This is the first time that I have heard of blood type determining a person's character. i don't see how your blood type can make you one kind of specific person. We are born with a certain blood type. there is nothing we can do about that. The kind of person we are is determined by how we choose to live our lives.

Hi! That is very interesting. What I've read before was specific foods for your blood type but I didn't follow it, lol. Cause my favorite foods are not good according to my blood type. Haha... Anyway, I will read your link. happy Mylotting!

Blood type had nothing to do with character. You can have any blood type and end up being anything.
The same goes for your brain. Just because you have a low or high I.Q. doesn't mean that you are any less or more of a person.

I'm not so sure about the blood type theory. While we do inhert some traits and characteristics from our ancestors,I believe that our personalities are shaped by the people and experiences we have in our lives and our perceptions of them; of the things we are taught and traditions passed down as "important" and worthy of passing on from generation to generation. Even dysfunctional behvior is passed from generation to generation until that cycle is broken and new behavior is learned. Those things all make up our personalities.

A person's blood type is determined largely by genetics, and does not change through his or her lifetime. One of the main factors which determine blood type is family genetics. A child receives separate sources of genetic code called alleles from each parent at the time of conception. One of the alleles located on chromosome 9 contains the precise blood type of the donor parent, and is classified as A, B, AB or O. An additional factor is called the Rhesus factor, which could be positive or negative. The actual blood type of a child is determined by the dominant blood type between the two parents. A and B are both dominant over O, which means a child that receives an A blood type from the father and an O blood type from the mother will have an A blood type.
I think the blood type only determine what type of stock the person belongs to, it does not however determines the character or mental makeup of the person.
