If i were given the chance,I would prefer to choose Family which is taking good care of my son specially he needs my attention and love because he has a heart problem.

I would definately choose family also
your kids are only young once
they grow up too fast and before you know they will be gone
My work knows that if something is going on with the kids I will not be in to work.

Family always has to come first. But there are certain situation where you really have to balance both family and career. Specially if you are a single parent or you have many children to support. Wish you the best in your family maylen2010! :)

Likewise here. Im a mother of one and since i gave birth to her, im a hands on mom and never ever worked. I only resume to working last january of this year. I am so sad before, i kept on thinking about the welfare of my only child who will be alone then since my husband also works. My sister volunteered to take care of her while we're both away. I really have a heavy heart knowing that we couldn't do our usual everyday routines together but when the days passed, me and my daughter got used to it. We just have our play every night when im here at home already and during week ends. I just realized that she became more responsible and independent since i go back to work and me, a lot more confident because i was able to earn and helped into our family's financial needs again. I just balanced our relationship though its hard, i use to give her quality time and see to it that I have an ear to listen to her whenever she's talking about what happened to her in school. Have a pleasant day ahead!

If my family is wealthy enough, then I will chose family indeed. But since I still have to help my husband to support the economy, I can't do that.

Jobs come and go and family is forever. Seriously if we heaven forbid get too sick and get hospitalized our employer would not hesitate to find a replacement in a second tops.

Hello Maylen,
If I were to choose between the two, I'd have to choose my career as my first priority since I still don't have a family of my own. So that I can be able to help my parents and my siblings with the financial aid that I will gain as my career prospers. This is a matter of balance on how you deal with two different things. As long as one is both of these choices are met.
