When Was The Last Time Someone Was Kind To You?

What did this entail? I would say that kindness is my hubby's greatest trait and one of the many reasons I married him. He's not just kind with me; he's kind with his family and my Mum. Earlier - when he was at work I rang him to tell him that I couldn't get out to post my CV and letter to Cumbrian Properties due to feeling unwell with my cold. This was genuine as I did feel crappy, to be honest. Anyway, in his chirpy tone he told me not to worry about it and that after tea he would drive me to Cumbrian Properties where I could post it through their letterbox. The place is actually within walking distance but he chose this method so we wouldn't be rushing back before I rang Mum up..something I always do on a Friday. The fact I posted it personally saved me on postage too, an added bonus in a time of thrift!! The above is just one small example of his kindness and I strive to be more like him every day.

I have to say my boyfriend and we live together going on four years. He knows what I am going through financially and never ever complains and or brings up where I am with all of my whoos. Anytime he senses any type of dismay on my face he always has his way of saying: "Doll" you really should take a nap and or get some rest. Awwh he is sweet and passive. Living with him has really taught me the value of life, as there is nothing that ever irritates him to the point where he would allow his character to change even for a split second. Bless your husband

Awww he sounds just like my beau. You do realise that everyone has a "twin" living somewhere else in the world, don't you my friend?

I guess we are a lucky group of girls. My husband is also consistently kind. Today he went shopping with me after he worked all day and then put a new shower head on the shower before supper. I also have a kind son who never fails to bail me out of computer despair, and he lives here as well.

My brother went for a day out yesterday, and brought me a present back when he returned. My flat is right next to the train station, so whenever he is taking a train, he will always come and say hello to me before he goes wherever it is he's going. On this occasion, he knew that I was having a bit of a bad week, so he came to see me with a lovely present, and it cheered me up no end. I have to say that things like that really do cheer me up. If everyone else made more of an effort to be kind to people, I think everyone would be much happier with their lives.

Awww your brother sounds like a lovely guy and I bet his kindness isn't forced. Do you know what I mean? He's naturally kind, if that makes sense. Yes, you are quite right, if people around the world were more kind to others wouldn't it be wonderful? Thanks for sharing!

Ahh, that's sweet... Your very lucky. The last time someone was kind to me was last night, this friend of mine said to me "Thank you for giving my heart a chance to love." I think that's the most kind and sweetest thing someone has told me.

The last time someone was kind to me was last friday... well everyday someone is kind but i guess friends are supposed to be like that. but this random dude sat next to me in a bus, and he was very talkativ. first i was annoyed by him, but after a while it was kinda nice. we talked about what i and him was going to do in the weekend, and the time went really fast and nice.

That happened to me once on a long journey by train. The time passed by very quickly as this lady I didn't know chatted all the way there lol. It is nice when you sit next to someone like that - makes the journey more bearable somehow.

There was this one time when I was working that I have a one on one with a trainer. From the middle of the session until time's up, I felt very crappy and sad at the same time for no reason. My trainer felt this as well and asked what was bothering. Didn't think of an answer because there was none to think of at that time. I walk with her on the way home hoping that I can rub off the feeling by walking it off. Just before we parted ways, she gave me a hug. I don't know her that much and it was very awkward for me because I'm not a touchy or feely person, but it did help take away some of my sadness away. It was kind for her to be doing that to someone she barely knew. May God bless her for that!

Awww that is so sweet, I love it! It's great when another person you hardly know "picks up" on a mood and acts upon it. Seems to have worked too.
