do humans have taken its toll in nature that the UN had to put some animals and birds under extinct list and some under endanger list, or is this the part of life that you think as Darwin thought only fittest will survive. I think if we go with Darwin theory we wont be surviving in future as our resources are diminishing so this means now considering we as the fittest will be survivors of future, killing our own people to have some oxygen too.

we are taught to adapt and evolve in order to survive and if we don't do that then we go extent

If we go with Darwin's theory it would suggest that life will force other species to be bested by those who are stronger and more adaptable than the others. Mankind is one of them. Let us say that our oxygen supply will be running out in a couple of million years, nature will start the wheel of evolution that would produce a specie that does not rely on oxygen or a specie that will produce its own oxygen. Imagine, a walking talking chlorophyll infused man!
The specie who cannot adapt to its changing environment will surely be gradually phased out; however, man is just speeding up the process if some flora and fauna are now considered as endangered. Could it be that mutations that are occurring today is just mother nature saying "Hey! I'm trying to experiment here."

The earth is becoming over populated by humans which have learned to adapt and cope with any survial situation. That beening said many spicies are going exticent because of humans, wheter it be over fishing, or over hunting. And even wrost with humans that really don't care about the surroundings. But once we get to the point that we have to destroy most of the forest of the world just to house the growing human population thats when crimes and a whole bunch of other problems will sky rocket.
