I met my husband 20 years ago when we were both working at Mcdonalds. He has always told me that he fell in love with me the second he saw me. I wish I could say the same but it took a few weeks before I felt the same. I used to think love at first sight only happened in the movies or in someone's imagination but 20 years later I am a believer. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I'm glad he was a romantic at heart. How did you meet your true love and did you know it instantly or did they?

Before last sunday I was thinking like you only,
But in the afternoon I get out of my house to get my friend's home and on the road a beautiful girl crosses me, I then turn my bike through wrong side which make traffic police to run after me, but I cant get chance to talk with her coz police caught me, but I got to know her house. Now the point is I dont know anything about her except her beautiful face and her address.
Please if you have any idea what should I do now, please tell me.

Send her some roses with a note. Tell her the story you told me and ask if you could meet somewhere. Make it a public place because you don't want her to think you're some stalker. Let me know how it goes and good luck!

If I send her roses but what if her parents read it and reacts abnormally???
I dont want to take a risk....
I have seen her in a coffee shop two hours ago and moved to talk then suddenly came to know that she is with a lady(I think she is her mother)..then I cant dare to talk...
I believe in patience..I will wait some days more to get a chance...

I haven't fallen in love at first sight. I really don't believe at love at first sight. How can we fall in love with a perfect stranger just by looking at them? Infatuation is more probable. I think love should be developed or learned and I don't think it will happen in an instant.

I think it does happen. It's just a mystery as to how and why. Perhaps it's God's way of letting us know that is the right person for us.

Yes, struck by lightning..but it didn't last for me. I believe it exists though and I'm so glad to hear that it had staying power :)

Love at first sight has never really happened to me. for me, love always has need room to blossom and develop. i'm sure it can be possible, but it just hasn't happened to me.

that's what my husband said to me too. but we are only on our more than 2 years of marriage. and he said that he love from the first time he laid an eyes on me and he already knows that i am the person he wants to spend the rest of his life. so after less than 8 months of knowing each other we got married and now we are hoping to have babies soon.
happy day to all!

I wish you both the best and hopefully you will be parents in a short time. I never knew men could be so romantic.

i haven't fallen in love at first sight. maybe because i don't really think that it's possible. for me "attraction" at first sight is possible, but "love" at first sight - i don't think so. for me you should really get to know a person first before you could say that you're in love with him.
i believe though that it's possible to fall in love with someone even if at first sight you were not attracted to the person. at first i wasn't attracted to my boyfriend, but now i'm madly in love with him :) we've known each other for 13 years and hope to get married :)

Hi kittenclaus! Unfortunately, the love at first sight thing hasn't happened to me yet. They say it's magical, falling in love that very moment.. Some says, they can't explain the feeling the moment they felt it. It's like, they ran out of air, became blank and had butterflies in their tummy. I enjoy listening to people who experienced the love at first sight thing telling how it was, reminiscing every details. It's like a fairy tale actually, full of love. Maybe,it's not yet my time to feel that thing too. :)

i dont know if you can term it as love at first sight i started having feelings toward my childrens father over the phone. he had been in a car accident with some of my family and i was asked to talk to him because he was lonely and we ended up talking for three hours that night. then when i visited him in the hospital i was hooked right away i always tell people that it was like falling in love with a little puppy dog if that sounds right and we have been together ever since five years ago
