Do you know the difference of Networking versus Pyramiding?

From what I now know, networking is direct sales. You sell the company's products to people and you earn from them. You may also recruit some people to join in the company and you get money from that, but networking does not solely depend on the recruitment of new people. In pyramiding scam, you mainly have to recruit people for you to earn. Eventually you will run out of people to invite and your earning stops. However, if you sell products and people love it, they would keep on buying from you which makes you earn continuously.

This is what I know. I have attend seminar in networking from the past. They told me that there are legitimate and illegitimate networking. They told me that you would know if it is a scam or not if that networking is performing a pyramiding scheme. I believe that not all networking is a scam. I think, they are different from each other because that is what they told me-- those people who are in networking.

i think they're just the same... they both need people.
